O’Connor, Veronica (Vera), (née Kearney) –17th December 2024, (Bayside, Dublin 13 and formerly of Ballybrittas, Co. Laois), Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and friends in the wonderful care of the staff at Beaumont Hospital. Loving mother of Anne-Marie and Patrick. Predeceased by her loving husband William (Bill). Sadly missed by her son and daughter, daughter-in-law Majella, grandchildren Eve and Oisín, brother-in-law James, dearest friends Kathleen and Laura, extended family, many close friends and neighbours.
Reposing at Jennings Funeral Home, Oscar Traynor Rd, Coolock on Friday afternoon, 20th December, from 3pm to 5pm. Removal on Saturday morning to the Church of The Resurrection, Bayside arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by burial in Fingal Cemetery.

Michael died peacefully at home in the presence of his loving family after a short illness.
Deeply regretted by his wife Pauline, son Gary, daughter Rachael, son in law Dave, daughter in law Genevieve, sister Olive, brother Eamonn, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and good friends.
Reposing at his home from 11oc on Thursday with Rosary at 6oc.
Removal at 6.45pm on Thursday evening to St.Brigid’s Church Ballinakill,arriving for 7pm.

Maureen Kennedy (née Cullinan)

Maureen died peacefully at St.Lukes Hospital, Kilkenny in her 100th year. She is predeceased by her husband Lar, brothers, sisters, brothers in law and sisters in law. Deeply regretted by her loving family, daughter Alice, sons John and Eamonn, son in law Martin, daughters in law Breda and Liz, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing at her home from 2oc on Wednesday with Rosary at 7oc. Funeral Mass at 12oc on Thursday in St.Brigid’s Church, Ballinakill which can be viewed on the link http://www.ballinakillknockparish.com. Burial afterwards in St Brigid’s Cemetery.
Seamus Dunne
Hackney, London and formerly of Trumera, Mountrath, Laois
The death has occurred of Seamus Dunne, Hackney, formerly of Trumera, Mountrath Co Laois, who passed away peacefully on December 11th, 2024 at St Joseph’s Hospice, Hackney in his 90th year.
Beloved husband of Kathleen, much loved Dad of Vincent, Catherine and James and Grandad to Joshua and Brenna.
Predeceased by his brothers William, James, Har, Peter, Fintan and Martin and sisters Mai, Bridie, Margaret, Kathleen and Josie.
He will be sadly be missed by his nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Funeral 17/1/2024 at 11 am in St John the Baptist Church, King Edward Road, Hackney, London.

Zita Hayes (née White)

Peacefully, in the care of Marymount Care Centre Lucan. Predeceased by her husband Eddie, brothers Reggie and Pat, brothers-in-law Gerry and Padraig and sister-in-law Angela. Deeply regretted by her sons Ian and Padraig, sister Monica, sisters-in-law Mary and Jo, granddaughters Emma, Megan, Maggie and Devon, daughters -in-law Liz and Monica, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews who were a big part of Zita’s life and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing in the Chapel of Rest adjoining the Church of the Most Holy Rosary Abbeyleix from 5.30 pm. on Wednesday with prayers at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 11 am. in the Church of the Most Holy Rosary Abbeyleix . Interment afterwards in Bohernabreena Cemetery Dublin. Arriving 1.15 pm. approx.

Oliver Peter Delaney, (Ballincollig, Co. Cork & formerly of Mountmellick, Co. Laois).
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and peaceful passing of Oliver Delaney, cherished husband of the late Nuala, and beloved father of Gerard, Trevor, Emlyn & Gavin. A wonderful grandfather to Mark, Emma, Rebecca, Christian, Maria, Carl, David, Adam, Seán, Sam & Charlie, and a great-grandfather to Pippa, Ciarán & Ronan. Treasured father-in-law to Maureen, Jean, Julieann & Anne-Marie. He will be fondly missed by his brother PJ, his sisters-in-law Ann & Susan, brother-in-law Tom, and his many nieces & nephews. His lifelong, loyal friends will forever hold him in their hearts & memories.

Oliver is finally reunited in Heaven with his adored wife Nuala, following many brave years of separation.
