Mary Parlon (nee Delaney), Ballinla, Ballaghmore, Borris in Ossory, Co. Laois. Died December 5th 2024. Peacefully at home in the loving care of her family.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Ollie. Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by her loving family, Martin, William, Frances, Oliver, Linda and Clare, her 12 grandchildren Enda, Dervla, Carmel, Amy, Olivia, Rossa, Jessica, Isabella, Tara, Aoife, Thomas and Hannah, her brother Joe, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at her home (Eircode R32E793), this Sunday (Dec 8th) from 4pm with prayers at 7pm. Removal on Monday (Dec 9th) to arrive at St. Molua’s Church, Ballaghmore, for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by interment in the adjoining Cemetery.

Linda Dempsey (Nee Rintoul) , 4th December 2024 passed away peacefully at her home 4 Borris Court, Portlaoise.
Beloved Mother to Serena, Keith and Stephen. Linda will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Laura, Ava, Ciarán, Rían, Ruadh, Ali, Croía and Sadhbh. Son in law Darragh, daughters in law Stephanie and Megan. Brothers Hugh, Greg, Martin, Kevin and David, sisters Heather and Tara. All her nieces and nephews and extended family. Sadly, predeceased by her daughter Lorraine, father Hugh, mother Irene, brother Robin, sister Violet and her partner Jackie.
Reposing at Keegans Funeral home on Saturday evening from 6pm until 7.30pm
Private cremation will follow on Monday

Predeceased by his recently deceased son-in-law Damien Doheny. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Sheila, daughter Edel, son Adrian, daughter-in-law Mary, grandchildren Oisín, Liam and Brian, sister Mary, brother Patrick, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and former work colleagues of Coillte.
Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home, Portlaoise on Sunday, December 8th, from 6:30pm till 8pm with rosary at 7:30pm. Funeral mass on Monday at 12 noon in SS Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.
Bernadette ( Ber) Smeaton (née Hennessy)

Bernadette (Ber) Smeaton (née Hennessy), 17 O’Daly Terrace, Rathdowney, Co. Laois, December 4th. 2024, peacefully at the Midland’s Regional Hospital Portlaoise, surrounded by her loving family in her 91st. year.
Predeceased by her husband Billy, daughter Norrie, her parents, sisters Annie, Kathleen, May and Una and brothers Tommy, Seàn and Joseph.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family, sons Terry and Liam, grandchildren, great grandchildren sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at O’Sullivan’s funeral home Rathdowney (Eircode R32 NY24) on Friday evening December 6th. from 5 o’clock pausing for prayer at 7 o’clock. Removal from her residence on Saturday afternoon to The Church of the Most Holy Trinity Rathdowney arriving for Requiem Mass at 2 pm. Interment afterwards in Bealady Cemetery.

Thuillier, (Laois and Dublin) November 25th, 2024, peacefully surrounded by his loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff at M.R H.P., George, late of Maslough Meadow, Ballinakill and formerly of Shanliss Avenue, Santry.
Beloved husband of the late Caroline(Carrie) and much-loved father of John, Martina, Avril, Andrea and Eric, and loving grandfather to Adam, Craig, Jordan, Abbey, Cian, Khloe and Jake, great-grandfather to Ashton, Sunny and Theo. Predeceased by his brother Ronnie and sister Lyndia. Sadly missed by his loving family, brothers-in-law Paddy, William, Donal, Kenneth and Dave, sister-in-law Joan, sons-in-law Christy and Marcus, daughter-in-law Debbie, relatives and friends.
Reposing at his daughter’s home in Santry on Friday (December 6th) from 5pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday (December 7th) in Church of the Holy Child, Whitehall at 10am followed by cremation to Glasnevin Crematorium.
