First Ireland Spirits are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified Maintenance Electrician to join our operations team at our Cream Liqueur manufacturing and bottling facility in Abbeyleix.
As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems and equipment.
Job Description
The Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems throughout our facility. This role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency and safety of our production processes.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults in our manufacturing and bottling plants.
- Perform preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
- Respond promptly to electrical issues and equipment failure
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and electrical codes
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to optimize facility operations
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, installations and maintenance activities.
Requirements:
- Valid & appropriate electrician qualifications/certification.
- Willingness to work shifts (currently 2 x 8 hour shift cycle x 5 day week)
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to food safety standards.
