McCann (née Hennessy) Johanna, 13th November 2024, (Walkinstown and formerly of Ballymaddock, Stradbally, Co Laois); peacefully after a short illness at St. James’s Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Patrick, much-loved mother of Eamon, Brendan, Una, Yvonne and Paul and loving sister of Eileen, Patricia and the late Maureen, Fr. Dan, Liam and Fintan. Predeceased by her son-in-law John and daughter-in-law Jacqui.
Johanna will be forever loved and sadly missed by her children, sisters, daughters-in-law Donna and Freda, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, the extended Hennessy and McCann families, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Crumlin Village on Saturday from 3pm to 5pm. Funeral Mass on Monday (18th November 2024) at 10am in Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Walkinstown followed by Burial in Bohernabreena Cemetery.

John Joe Ging. Green Mill Lane Portlaoise. Died 11th November 2024. Peacefully at home. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Katie, siblings Ann, Kathleen, Mary and Willie (Son). Deeply regretted by his loving brothers, Tommy, Paddy and Christy, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Frances Lalor (nee Dann), Ballymullen, Errill, Portlaoise, Co. Laois, November 13th. 2024, unexpectedly at Midland’s Regional Hospital, Portlaoise.
Predeceased by her husband Ted, parents Joseph and Emily and daughter-in-law Brenda.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family, Yvonne, Raymond, Adrian and Edna, her adored grandchildren Julian, Emily, Maggie, Lucy, Hayden and Charlotte, daughters-in-law Elva and Linda, sister-in-law Annie, brother-in-law Sam, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at her residence Ballymullen, Eirrill (Eircode R32 XY29) on Friday November 15th from 4 o’clock until 7 o’clock and on Saturday November 16th from 4 o’clock with prayers at 8 o’clock. Removal on Sunday to Castlefleming Church (Eircode R32 XK57) arriving for funeral service at 3 o’clock. Interment afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.

Lios an Óir, Charleville, formerly of Buttercup, Portlaoise, Co. Laois and originally from Durban, South Africa.
Nonjabulo passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving family at home on Sunday, November 3rd, 2024.
Predeceased by her loving parents Jubilee Zu and Thembeni Victoria. Loving mother of Odwa Awethu and Lwandile, cherished grandmother of Uminathi Zanokuhle.
Dear sister of Khethiwe Confidence, Joy, Thabile Purity, Doh Bathobile and Charity Siphindile.
Deeply regretted by her loving family, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, brother-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing in Hawe – O’Keeffe’s Funeral Home (P56 YY15), Bakers Road, Charleville, on Friday evening from 4:00pm to 6:00pm, followed by Prayers and Reception into Holy Cross Church, Charleville.

Suddenly but peacefully at home. Dearly loved wife of the late James (Jim). Deeply missed by her children James, Rachel, Simon and David, grandchildren Edward, Mia, Jennifer, Faye, Daniel and Freddie, daughters-in-law Amanda and Sarah, son-in-law Peter O’ Callaghan, extended family and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at her home from 5pm. with prayers at 7pm. on Thursday evening. Leaving her residence at 11.45 am. on Friday for Requiem Mass at 12 noon in the Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. The Mass can be viewed on https://Abbeyleixparish.ie/webcam.
