The Christmas magic was in full swing at SOLAS Eco Garden Centre’s Santa Grotto Launch Night, which welcomed over 200 children, kicking off the festive season in a truly unforgettable way.
From the moment families entered, the atmosphere was filled with excitement as children eagerly searched for Santa during our Santa Claus Hide-and-Seek. After an adventurous hunt through the festive displays, a group of delighted children finally discovered Santa himself, snuggled up and sound asleep in our beds section!
But not for long—as Santa was whisked away to lead the kids to a lively Christmas disco before lighting up the Christmas tree for the season.
With a bustling Christmas craft market, thrilling fun fair rides, and a festive, warmly lit food court serving delicious seasonal treats, the launch night was a resounding success.
John Carey, co-owner and chief elf for the night, shared, “Seeing the children’s faces light up when they realised Santa himself was here at SOLAS was nothing short of magical. We’re thrilled to be part of creating that joy and wonder for families this Christmas.”

Optional add-ons include a family photo with Santa and a tasty kids’ meal to complete the festive fun.
