Kathleen McEvoy (née O’Sullivan)
“Sunberry”, Abbeyleix, Laois/Ardpatrick, Limerick
The death has occurred of Kathleen McEvoy (nee O’Sullivan) of ‘Sunberry’, Abbeyleix, Co. Laois and formerly of Graigue, Ardpatrick, Co.Limerick, November the 4th 2024, very peacefully following a brief illness in the exceptional care of Bryan, Maura, Ciara and staff of St.Gobnait’s Nursing Home, Ballyagran, Co.Limerick. Predeceased by her husband Seamus, brothers Willie and Timothy, sisters Lizzie, Sr.Breda, Maireád and Eileen. Sadly missed by her loving family, sisters Teresa Croke (New York), Carmel O Leary (Athlacca), brother David O Sullivan (Askeaton), brothers-in-law Aiden Croke, Pa O’Leary, sisters-in-law Mary O’Sullivan, Emma McEvoy, Kathleen O’Sullivan and Eileen O’Sullivan, nieces and nephews, especially Geraldine, Marian and Bryan, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing this Tuesday evening, 5th, from 6pm at Daffy’s Funeral Home, Kilmallock followed by evening prayers at 7pm. Funeral to arrive Wednesday, to the Chapel of Rest, Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix, Co. Laois, at 11am for reposing, before Kathleen’s Requiem Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial afterwards to the adjoining cemetery.
Sheila Guidera (née Mc Redmond)
Knockanina, Mountrath, Laois
Sheila Guidera (nee McRedmond), Knockanina, Mountrath, Co. Laois. Died November 4th 2024. Peacefully in the Maryborough Centre Portlaoise, in the loving care of the wonderful staff.
Predeceased by her husband Patrick, her parents Bernie and Sheila, brothers Liam and Christy. Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by her sisters Mary (Moore), Margaret (Boyhan), Kathleen (Mulhall), Bernadette and Chris (Mc Redmond), her brothers Michael, Frank and Donal, her aunt Maidie (McGill), extended family, relatives, neighbours, friends and colleagues in the Maryborough Centre.
Reposing in the Maryborough Centre (Eircode R32 YFW6), this Tuesday evening (Nov.5th) from 5pm until 7pm. Reposing in Guilfoyle’s Funeral Home Castletown (Eircode R32 TN84), this Wednesday evening (Nov.6th) from 5 pm until 8 pm with prayers in the funeral home at 7 pm. Removal on Thursday morning (Nov. 7th) to arrive at St. Edmund’s Church, Castletown for Funeral Mass at 11am, with burial immediately afterwards in St Fintan’s Cemetery, Mountrath.
Sean Bergin
The Camross Inn, Camross, Laois
Sean passed away peacefully on the 2nd November 2024, surrounded by his loving family, and in the care of staff at Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise. Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Mai, brother Liam.
Beloved husband and best friend of Pauline, and dear father to Caroline, Paddy, Noel and Alan.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his family, and his adored grandchildren Grace, Max, Isla, and Seán, sisters Moira, Rita and Irene, brother Aidan, aunt Hannah, daughters-in-law Ciara and Emma, partners Neil and Róisín, sisters-in-law Ellen, Mary, Bernie, Josie, Joan and Marie, brothers-in-law Dermot, John, Joe, Paddy, Seamus, Pat and Joe, and our loyal barman Jerry (Downey), nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, loyal customers, neighbours and many friends.
Reposing at The Camross Inn, Camross (eircode R32NY28) Monday evening (November 4th) from 4.0’clock, concluding with Rosary at 8.0’clock. Removal on Tuesday afternoon to St. Fergal’s Church Camross, for Requiem Mass at 1.0’clock, followed by Burial in the adjoining Cemetery.
