Abbeyleix Further Education and Training Centre (part of the LOETB) recently marked a significant milestone with its annual graduation ceremony, held at the Abbeyleix Manor Hotel.
The event honoured the accomplishments of Learners who successfully completed various courses, including:

- Art Craft and Design
- Animation
- Information Technology
- Room Design
- Horticulture
- Craft
- Business
- Biosciences
- Return to Learning
- Nursing Studies
- Healthcare Support
The ceremony featured an overview of the new course offering; QQI Level 5 Horticulture with tutor Brian Burke and Learner Willie Quinlan providing an insight to the career and further learning opportunities available to graduates.
Centre Manager Ms Helen Kavanagh congratulated the graduates on their achievements, acknowledging their dedication and hard work.
Ms Kavanagh emphasised the importance of lifelong learning and encouraged the graduates to continue pursuing their dreams.
The event also included the presentation of certificates to graduates by Michelle Shanahan, LOETB’s FET Pathways Manager.
