Joseph Ruth. St Johns Sq., Portlaoise. October 21st 2024. Aged 88. Son of the late Josephine Ryan. Deeply regretted by his daughter Donna Sons Joseph, Patrick and Derek, Niece Annette and her husband Chris ..Son in law Karl .Grandchildren , and great-grandchildren, relatives and his many colleagues and friends at Portlaoise Regional Hospital.
Reposing at Keegans Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 6 pm until 7 pm. Removal on Friday to arrive at SS Peter and Paul’s Church for 12 noon requiem mass. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.
John Cooney

John passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family while under the wonderful care of the medical staff of University Hospital Waterford. John is deeply regretted by his loving wife Betty and his adoring daughter Martina, his brother Joe and sisters Margaret and Breda. Predeceased by his son Vinnie and brother Noel. He will be sadly missed by his family, his extended family and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing in the Church of the Holy Trinity, Durrow, Co. Laois (R32 CK11) on Friday, 25th October 2024, at 6pm concluding with recital of Rosary at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday, 26th October 2024, in the Church of the Holy Trinity, Durrow at 11am with burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Corcoran, Patrick (Pat/Paddy) (Windmill Ave., Swords, Co. Dublin and formerly of Ballyroad, Co. Laois) October 21st, 2024, (peacefully) at Woodlawn Manor Nursing Home. Late staff of St. Ita’s Hospital, Portrane and the Sue Ryder Foundation and former member of Forrest Little Golf Club. Beloved husband of the late Nora. Sadly missed by his loving daughter Michelle, sons Michael and David, son-in-law Barry, daughter-in-law Lucyna, grandchildren Milo, Darragh, Jeffrey and Miles, extended family and friends.
Reposing at Rock’s Funeral Home, Swords on Wednesday (Oct. 23rd) from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Removal on Thursday (Oct. 24th) morning to St. Cronan’s Church, Brackenstown arriving for 10 a.m. Mass followed by funeral to St. Colmcille’s Cemetery, Swords.
