Two Laois students receive prestigious scholarships worth €24,000

Sarah Daly and Ella McNulty, two outstanding students from Scoil Chríost Rí, have been awarded the prestigious Naughton Scholarship following their exceptional Leaving Certificate results.

This is a significant achievement, as they are two of only 36 students across Ireland to receive this highly coveted award.

While Scoil Chríost Rí is the only school to boast two recipients this year – an extraordinary accomplishment.

Sarah Daly has accepted a place studying Science at University College Dublin while Ella McNulty has accepted a place studying Biomedical Health and Life Sciences at University College Dublin.

The Naughton Scholarship, established to support students who pursue STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) courses at university, is one of the most significant scholarships available in Ireland.
