There are set to be some very familiar faces gracing your TV screens later this week.
The second episode of the second season of The 2 Johnnies Late Night Lock In TV show will air on RTE 2 this Thursday from 10.05pm.
And among all of the madness will be a sizeable portion of people from Laois.
The popular ‘Parish Quiz’ segment will pit Stradbally in Laois up against Robertstown of Kildare.
And in the hotseat answering the questions about Stradbally will be parish priest Fr David Vard.
Fr Vard, who ran a marathon on Saturday before jumping out of plane on Sunday to raise funds for the parish, is put through his paces by Johnny B and Johnny Smacks.
He is assisted by Paula Hennessy, Ros Larkin, Ross Molloy, Ger Galway, Roghan Haeden and LaoisToday’s Alan Hartnett.
And that isn’t all Fr David is assisted by – with around 40 members of the Timahoe Male Choir also set to feature at another point in the show.
This is another feather in the cap for the choir who have already performed at Electric Picnic, have a sold out show planned for Kavanagh’s in Portlaoise in December and are off to New York for St Patrick’s Day.
Aside from all of that, the episode is a laugh from start to finish with musician Lyra and gold medal winning Olympian Rhys McClenaghan being interviewed.
There is stand up comedy, a man who does a strange thing with an accordion and another who does something even more peculiar with his nose.
There is also live music and various other bits of craic to keep everyone entertained.
