After a year-long renovation, the new 25,000 sq. ft. Finline Furniture showroom on Dublin’s Long Mile Road has opened, marking a significant milestone for the Laois company as they celebrate 45 years in business.
Finline Furniture is Ireland’s largest manufacturer of handmade upholstered furniture from its factory in Emo.
Since its founding in 1979 by Kieran and Bridget Finane, Finline Furniture have grown into a well-known Irish brand, now managed by sons Ciaran and Kilian Finane.
The new showroom is part of an expansion strategy that brings the company’s total employment to over 100 jobs, reflecting its commitment to growth and innovation in the Irish furniture market.
Finline offers over 250 different models of sofas, chairs, sofabeds and headboards, where customers have the choice of format, size, fabric and trim.
The business model is focused on a quality product made to customer preferences, ensuring comfort, longevity and most importantly, a sustainable, stockfree, make-local shop-local approach. Finline serves both consumer and trade markets.
“Our new Dublin showroom embodies our dedication to quality craftsmanship and sustainable practices,” said Ciaran Finane.
“We focus on producing high-quality, locally made furniture that meets the diverse needs of our customers.”
The new expansive gallery-style showroom gives customers the space and comfort to shop for a range of upholstered home furniture and gives customers the chance to see, touch and sit before making any decisions.
Finline is also proud to launch Revive, a unique sofa takeback programme which supports Finline’s goal that “no sofa goes to landfill.”
Kilian Finane added, “We are so sure of our frame quality, we will take back old Finline sofas, refurbish them and resell them at an excellent value price-point.
“The initiative is being rolled out in all our showrooms and is in partnership with ‘Loved Back to Life by Aiseiri’, who provide services to help young people, adults and families overcome addiction and lead meaningful lives in recovery.
Finline Furniture is Irish-made furniture, designed to last with showrooms in Cork, Galway, Laois and Dublin.
