Fashion show announced to raise funds for rural Laois national school

The Parent’s Association of Knock National School, Ballinakill, are hosting a Fashion Show, in aid of the school, on Friday, October 4, in Abbeyleix Golf Club.

Both ladies and men’s fashion will be well represented, with Erre Esse, Fifty Seven Boutique and Ladybelle Boutique for the ladies, and Details Menswear and FreeSoul Menswear for the men.

For those with children making their communion this year, there have communion fashion for boys and girls from Details Menswear and Nursery Rhymes, which will be modelled by the secon class students.

A local business showcase on the night will include stands from House of Blooms, Sophie’s Bake and Cakes, The Soulful Gardener, Market Square Studios and Laois SPCA.

There will be a prosecco reception and raffle on the night.

A 14-foot trampoline is the grand prize for the raffle, which has been kindly donated by Daisy Chains Childcare, Ballinakill’s new Montessori and afterschool service.

The entrance fee is €15, which you can pay on the door, or tickets are available in advance from the school office and Ladybelle Boutique in Abbeyleix, and you can then present your ticket on the night for a free raffle ticket.

Doors open from 7pm with show starting at 8pm.
