Pat Scully, Millbrook, Portlaoise Co.Laois. Died September 26th 2024. Peacefully surrounded by his loving family. (Retired Prison Officer). Predeceased by his wife Margaret and son Mark. Deeply regretted by his loving daughter Sharon and her partner Cliff, grandchildren Ryan, Emma and Kate, brothers Kevin and Brendan, sister Trica, sisters in law, brothers in law, aunt Peg, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 4pm to 5:30pm with rosary at 5pm. Requiem Mass on Monday at 2:30pm in SS Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise, followed by interment in SS Peter and Paul’s cemetery.

Peacefully surrounded by his loved ones. Predeceased by his parents, brothers and sisters. Deeply regretted by his loving nieces, nephews, sister-in-law, relatives, neighbours, his loyal close friends and his four legged friend Louie.

Reposing at Maher’s Chapel of Rest, Portarlington (eircode R32 X5XV) on Friday evening from 7pm with Rosary at 8pm. Reposing on Saturday from 3:30pm with Removal at 4:40pm (travelling via Foxcroft Street) arriving St Michael’s Church, Portarlington, at 5:30pm. Requiem Mass on Sunday at 12:15pm. Funeral afterwards to St Michael’s Cemetery Portarlington.

Edith Doyle (nee Deffew) St Brigids Place Portlaoise. September 26th 2024 . Peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Patrick and son Paul.

Dearly loved mother to Patrick, Gerard, Tracey (O’ Sullivan), Eugene, and Alison (Maher). Cherished grandmother to her 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Deeply regretted by her loving family. Sister Ellen Higgins, and brother Richard Deffew, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Keegans Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 6.30 pm until 8 pm. On Monday removal from her home to arrive at SS Peter and Pauls Church for 12 noon Requiem Mass. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Pauls cemetery Portlaoise.

House strictly private Monday morning.
