Pre-deceased by her husband Paddy and daughter Mandy. Mary will sadly missed by her sons Billy, Michael and daughter Mag, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters and brothers, extended family, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Coady’s Funeral Home, Castlecomer on Friday (30th August) from 5pm, concluding with Vigil Prayers and Rosary at 8pm.
Funeral cortége arriving at Saint Abban’s Church, Doonane on Saturday for Requiem Mass at 12 Noon.
The family would like to thank the nurses and carers in the Stroke Unit, St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny for their exceptional care and attention to Mary.

Laois, August 27th 2024, peacefully at St. James’ Hospital, Dublin 8, beloved brother-in-law of the recently deceased Joe, Fabien and Gus, deeply regretted by his loving wife Noeleen, daughters, Michelle and Ruth, son Trevor, sons-in-law Bartley and Karl, daughter-in-law Angela, grandchildren Katie, Ciara, Sarah, Sean, Lily, Niamh and Joe, brother John, sisters Mary, Margaret and Netta, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Sheila Kearney (nee Brophy), Sarsfield Street, Mountmellick, Co. Laois, formerly Castlemarket, Co. Kilkenny, formerly Kearney’s Bakery.
Sheila passed away peacefully on Wednesday, 28th August 2024, in her 93rd year, surrounded by her devoted family, in the tender loving care of the outstanding nurses and carers of St. Theresa’s ward in St. Vincent’s Community nursning unit, Mountmellick. Pre-deceased by her loving husband Paschal, her daughter-in-law Margaret, her sisters Mary Birchall (Celbridge), Chrissie Dempsey (Manchester), and Kathleen Tynan (Castlecomer). Cherished mother to Ger, Eugene, Packie, Cathy and Marian. Treasured Nanny of Alan, Mark, Ronan, Cathal, Sarah, Lauren, Leanne and Yvette and cherished Great-Grandmother of Lucy, Thomas, Kayla, Ollie, Fionn, Oisín and Lily. Deeply regretted by her sons and daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her brother Michael, sisters Anne and Josie, sons-in-law Mick and Leo, daughter-in-law Helen, Eugene’s partner Síle, brothers-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews, relatives and Shiela’s large circle of loyal friends and neighbours.
Reposing at Moloney’s Funeral Home, Sarsfield Street, Mountmellick on Thursday from 4pm to 7:30pm. Family time thereafter until removal at 8pm to St. Joseph’s Church, Mountmellick, arriving at 8:15pm. Requiem Mass at 11am on Friday, burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

James Joseph John Jordan (Jnr)
Errill, Laois / Tullamore, Offaly
James Jordan (Jnr), Errill, Co Laois and Tullamore, Co. Offaly, August 28th. 2024, suddenly in the loving care of staff at Midland’s Regional Hospital Portlaoise surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his grandparents Jim and Phil Jordan.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his father Jimmy and mother Bernadette, son Ashton, daughter Pyper, brother Christopher, sister Catherine, grandparents Mary and Gerry O’Hanlon, his foster parents Michael and Margaret Daly (Tullamore), aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at O’Sullivans funeral home Rathdowney (Eircode R32 NY24) on Thursday evening August 29th. from 7.30 pausing for prayers at 8.30. Removal on Friday to Our Lady Queen of the Universe Church Errill arriving for Requiem mass at 2 pm followed by burial in St. Kieran’s cemetery Errill.

Michael will be sadly missed by his loving wife Eileen, daughters Breda, Mary, Helen, and Ann, sons Fintan, Mike, Larry, and Donal, his grandchildren Nicole, Hayley, Aimee, David, Lauren, Cody, Leah, Mikey, Ava, Carrie, Caoimhe, and Freya, son-in-law Chris, daughter-in-law Selene, Mary’s partner P.J., Donal’s partner Helen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Coady’s Funeral Home, Castlecomer on Thursday (29th August) from 3pm, with Vigil Prayers and Rosary at 8pm.
Removal on Friday morning to St. Patrick’s Church, Clogh for Requiem Mass at 12 Noon, with burial thereafter in the adjoining cemetery.

Deirdre Esther O’Donnell (Bayside and formerly of Ballybrittas, Co. Laois) passed away peacefully on Aug 25, 2024 at home. Deirdre, loving daughter of the late Joe and Sally O’Donnell and sister of the late Ailish, Dermot and Kieran. She will be very sadly missed by her brothers Aidan, Rory and Hugh, her loving sisters in law, her nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews (whose birthdays she never missed), extended family and her many wonderful friends and neighbours in Bayside and beyond.
Reposing at Fitzgerald’s Funeral Directors, Bayside on Wednesday, 28th August, from 3pm to 5pm. Funeral mass on Thursday morning, 29th August, at 10am in the Church of the Resurrection, Bayside followed by cremation in Dardistown Crematorium. No flowers by request.
