Midlands LGBT+ Project and Laois Pride have announced the final details of the third Laois Pride Festival.
They confirmed that Laois Pride 2024 will be taking place in Portlaoise from Monday, September 2, to Sunday, September 8.
The week is filled with events from movie screenings ro make up classes, and from book clubs and art classes.
The festival will celebrate our LGBT+ community, showcasing the incredible diversity and inclusivity that Laois is so proud of.
On Saturday September 8, Laois Pride Parade and family friendly festival will kick off at 12pm from Fitzmaurice Place in Portlaoise.
Everyone is welcome to join in the parade or stand on the streets waving the parade on.
Laois School of Music are hosting a free pride fun day at 1pm, with bingo, games, market vendors, performances and more.
The festival returns to the venue that night for an evening of Drag Queens and performances from Sing Along Social, The Wild Geese and more.
Laois Pride has been organised by Midlands LGBT+ Project, the only dedicated adult LGBT+ support service of its kind in the Midlands.
