Kathleen, formerly of Coose, peacefully at Raheen Community Hospital on August 21st, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her husband Bernard, her brother Jack, sisters Mary, Margaret and Sr. Elizabeth. She will be sadly missed by her sisters, Brigit, Sr. Oliver and Nancy, her nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
Reposing at St. Mary’s Funeral Home, Woodford, Co. Galway (H62 YV04) on Sunday, August 25th, from 6 pm with removal at 7.30pm to St. Brendan’s Church, Looscaun (H62 HX37). Funeral Mass on Monday, August 26th, at 12 noon with burial afterwards in the New Cemetery, Clonaslee, Co. Laois, arriving at 3 pm approx.

Douglas passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Wednesday, 21st August 2024. He is sadly missed by his devoted parents Liam and Heather, his adoring sisters Darlene and Leona his loving partner Lauren, his cherished nieces Jordan and Shauna, his nephew Brandon, his extended family and a wide circle of friends.

Padraig died at St.Lukes Hospital, Kilkenny after a short illness. Predeceased by his grandparents Paddy and Madge Brennan and John and Philomena Delaney. Deeply regretted by his heartbroken parents Eamon and Jacinta, brother Oisin,sister Ciara, girlfriend Fiona Barron, uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives, neighbours and large circle of friends.
Reposing at his parents residence at Grennan, Attanagh from 4pm on Friday evening with Rosary at 9pm.Reposing on Saturday evening from 4pm with Rosary at 9pm. Funeral Mass on Sunday at 2 pm in The Church of The Assumption, Ballyouskill followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. House Private on Sunday morning please.
Maurice Conlan

The death has occurred of Maurice Conlan, Timogue, Stradbally, Co. Laois (R32C638). Predeceased by his parents Jenny and Patrick, brother Paddy and sisters Francis Shore and Kathleen Phelan.
Maurice passed away peacefully at his home on 21st August 2024, surrounded by his adored wife Margaret and their four children. Sadly missed and forever loved by his wife, his children, Patrick, Marianne, Eamonn and Sean, son-in-law Jason, daughters-in-law Caroline and Karyn, his adored grandchildren Erin, Fiadh, Odhran and Ruairí, his loving sisters, Mary Walsh and Lill Pilkington, brothers-in-law Billy, Pat, Michael and Martin, sisters-in-law Finola Shiel, Elizabeth Smith, Mary Rowe and partners, his much loved nieces and nephews, extended family and his wonderful neighbours and his many friends.
Reposing at the family home on Friday 23rd August from 2pm with Recital of the Rosary at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday 24th August at 11am in the Sacred Heart Church, Stradbally. Interment to follow in Oakvale Cemetery, Stradbally.

Samuel passed away unexpectedly on the 19th August 2024. Sadly missed by his loving mam Santa, dad Stephen, sisters Sara and Chloe, granma, granda, aunts, uncles, cousins, special friend Maggie and family, extended family and school friends in Kolbe School Portlaoise.
Reposing at the family Home in Whitefields (eircode R32 PX66) on Friday evening 23rd August from 4pm to 7pm. Removal on Saturday 24th August at 12 noon arriving The Garden Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium for Funeral Service at 2:15pm.

Formerly of Bracklone Street, Portarlington County Laois. Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Tallaght University Hospital. Loving wife of Willie and dear mother of Aoibheann, Niamh, Orlagh and Eimear. Deeply regretted by her loving brothers and sisters Tom, Joyce, Jacqueline and Dermot, grandchildren Conor, Enda, Maeve, Garla , Evie, Tommy, Clodagh and Rien, sons-in-law Stephen, Philip, Darragh and Kevin, good friend Tony, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Mary Wallis (née Gaynor), Stillbrook, Mountrath, and formerly Portlaoise, Co. Laois. Died 20th August 2024, peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. Sadly missed by her loving and devoted husband John, and dear mother to Patricia (Pat) and Denise. Deeply regretted by her husband, daughters, grandchildren Abbie, Jade, Robyn and Conor, dear sister Julie, son-in-law Donie, sister-in-law Eileen, niece Helen, grandnephew Shay, godchild Bernie Hamm, extended family and a large circle of friends.
Reposing at her home in Stillbrook (eircode R32 H9W6) on Wednesday evening (August 21st) from 6.0clock, with Rosary at 8.0’clock. Reposing at Burke’s Funeral Home, Mountrath on Thursday evening (August 22nd) from 6.0’clock, concluding with Rosary at 8.0’clock. Removal on Friday morning to St Fintan’s Church, Mountrath, for Requiem Mass at 9.30 a.m., followed by Cremation in Shannon Crematorium, Co. Clare (eircode V14PV30) at 12.00 noon.

Daly, Fr. Peter Paul O.M.I. (Oblate Community, House of Retreat, Inchicore, Dublin 8 & Castlequarter, Ballybrophy, Portlaoise, Co. Laois) August 20th, 2024, in his 93rd year, in the loving care of the Palliative Care Staff, St. James’s Hospital.
Beloved son of the late Martin and Sarah, predeceased by his sisters Kay (Dennehy) Cork, Peg (Coogan) Castlecomer, brothers Martin (Castlequarter) Pat (Wexford). Deeply regretted by his brothers Sean (Cork), Michael (Clare) and Fr. Joe OMI, Inchicore, close family, his Oblate Community, staff of the House of Retreat, and many friends.
Reposing at the Community Chapel, House of Retreat, Inchicore on Thursday (August 22nd) from 6.00pm with prayers at 8.00pm. Funeral Mass on Friday (August 23rd) at 12.00 noon in the Church of Mary Immaculate (Oblates), Inchicore, followed by burial to the Community Cemetery.
