Dunamase College students joined the rest of the country this morning in opening their Leaving Certificate results.
This day marked a significant milestone for the school as it was just the second year group to receive their leaving cert results.
Some of the recently departed sixth year students attended the school this afternoon to be congratulated on their excellent results.
Principal of the school, Dympna Kelly, exchanged a few words as she wished the former students of Dunamase all the best in the future.
She said: “As principal I am incredibly proud of our students for their hard work, perseverance and dedication.
“Their fantastic results highlight not only their academic abilities but also the expertise and direction they received from their teachers.
“In Dunamase College/Coláiste Dhún Másc we create an environment where every student can thrive and we are thrilled that these students have benefitted so well from that.
“We are delighted to see that all our students reached their goals and we wish them well as they embrace new opportunities.”
