The death has occurred of Helen Smith, 62 St Josephs Terrace, Mountmellick, Co. Laois.
Died peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore.
Predeceased by her parents Sean and Patricia and her beloved daughter Linda.
Sadly missed by her heartbroken husband Peter, her sons Brian, Colm and Owen, daughters Karen, Wendy and Debbie, daughters-in-law Mary and Louise, brothers sisters grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Reposing on Wednesday 31st of July in Moloney’s funeral home (R32PC95) from 5.30pm with Rosary at 8pm.
Removal on Thursday morning from her home at 9.30 am to St Josephs Church Mountmellick arriving for 10am requiem mass.
Burial afterward in St Joseph’s Cemetary. House private, please.

Donie (Daniel) McRedmond
Ballyboggan, Clonard, Meath/Clonaslee, Laois
Formerly of Clonaslee, Co. Laois and Mitchelstown, Galtrim, Trim, Co. Meath. Donie, predeceased by his parents Dan and Catherine, brother Blaise, sisters Stasia and Ena.
Following a farm accident on 28 July 2024 in the wonderful care of the staff in ICU Tallaght Hospital, surrounded by his much loved wife Mary, adoring children Daniel, Brian, Jennifer, Aoife and Ruth; daughters-in-law Mary and Margie, sons-in-law Thomas, Brian and Eoin.
Loving grandad to Donal, Conor, Emer, Sean, Eve, Joanne, Niall, Daniel, Rachel, TJ, Tony, Ciara, Aaron, Cian, Ava and Erin.
Sadly missed by his brother Jim (Killurin) and sister Molly (UK), sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.
Patrick (Paddy) Conville

Patrick (Paddy) Conville of 4 Henry St., Graiguecullen and formerly of Little Barrack St., Carlow, passed away peacefully on July 21st, 2024 at St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny.
Beloved husband of the late Teresa, much loved father of Phyllis, Mary, Patricia, Martin, Peter, Noel, Therese, Aíne, Patrick and Olivia, much loved son of the late Murta and Mary (Little Barrack St.) and brother of the late Mary, Julia and Kathleen.
He will be sadly missed by his loving daughters, sons, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brother Owen, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
His family would like to thank all the various people who’ve helped him over the years, especially Deirdre his care worker, the staff and volunteers at St Fiacc’s House who helped him live independently and the staff at St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny, who provided so much care for him in his final days.
Reposing at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq., Carlow from 4pm on Friday, August 2nd, with Prayers at 8pm that evening. Removal on Saturday at 10.30am to St Clare’s Church, Graiguecullen, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am.
Burial afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.

Eamon Salmon, Fortbarrington, Athy passed away peacefully on 29th July, 2024. Predeceased by his wife Mary and son John.
Eamon will be sadly missed by his loving children Vera and Marc, grandchildren Erica, Jason, Bryan, Scott, Alfie and Freddie, great grandchildren Hannah, Harry, Pippa and Finnian, son-in-law Brendan, daughter-in-law Allison, his sister Lily, nephews and nieces.
Eamon will repose at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Athy (R14 NX80) on Tuesday 30th July, from 5pm until 7pm.
Removal by Thompson Funeral Directors on the morning of Wednesday 31st July to arrive at St. Michael’s Parish Church, Athy, for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Michael’s (New) Cemetery, Athy.

Peacefully at Suncroft Lodge Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her son Denis (Jazzy), parents William and Margaret, brothers Billy, Charlie, Jack and Paddy, sisters Carmel and Sadie.

Anna passed away peacefully in Portlaoise Midlands Regional Hospital in her 96th year surrounded by her loving family. Formally Borris in Ossory and Vicarstown. Predeceased by her husband Simon, infant son Garrett, her brother Sean, her daughter in law Marion and her nephew Pat.
Sadly, missed by her sons and daughters, Dan, Johnny, Jude, Betty, Garry, Mary, Simon Noel, Joseph, grandchildren, great grandchildren, daughter in law, her brother Joe and wife Mary, nieces, nephews, relatives neighbours, and friends.
Reposing on Monday in the Chapel of Rest Monasterevin (W34 N599) from 4pm–8pm. Recital of the rosary at 8pm. Arriving on Tuesday to the Sacred Heart Church Rath (R32 FN44) for 12noon requiem mass followed by internment in St. Johns cemetery Killenard (R32 VW77).
