David (Davy) Tobin, St. Fintan’s Terrace, Mountrath, Co. Laois. Died 13th July 2024 (unexpectedly). Predeceased by his mother, father and brothers. Sadly missed by his brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Abbeyleix, Laois

South Africa and Abbeyleix. Peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Brookhaven Nursing Home Ballyragget. Predeceased by her loving husband Martin. Deeply regretted by her loving daughter Lesley Anne, son Barry, grandson Michael and his partner Paulina, grandson Alexander, extended family and the world family and friends of Patricia.

The family would like to thank Dr. Madden and Family Carers Ireland for their wonderful care and attention.

Died peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Midland Regional Hospital, Portlaoise. Predeceased by her parents, Michael and Betty Blewitt.

Formerly of Wallsend, UK, and Graceful Flowers, Main St., Portlaoise.

Deeply regretted by her sister Jackie Chadkirk, and sadly missed by her niece, Angela, her extended family, relatives, good friends and neighbours.

Elizabeth (Liz) Kennedy (née Cummins)
1 Slieve Bloom Park, Clonaslee, Laois / Borris, Carlow

Elizabeth (Liz) Kennedy (nee Cummins), 1 Slieve Bloom Park, Clonaslee, Co. Laois and formerly of Inch, Borris, Co. Carlow. Passed away on the 13th of July 2024, suddenly but peacefully at the Midlands, Regional, Hospital, Tullamore, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Martin and her two infant sons.

Beloved mother of Liz, Jim and Martin.

Liz will be sadly missed by her heartbroken children, her daughters-in-law Mary and Lorrie, her 9 adoring grandchildren Katelyn, Tiffany, Dylan, Michelle, Tara, Amy, Clodiagh, Riagain and Cliodhna, her nephew James, and her niece Anne McCusker, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at the Heritage Centre, Main St, Clonaslee, on Tuesday from 3pm with Rosary at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11am in St. Manman’s Church, Clonaslee, with burial afterwards in St. Manman’s Cemetery, Clonaslee. Liz’s Funeral Mass can be viewed on www.churchmedia.tv by selecting County Laois.

As a celebration of Liz’s life please wear colourful clothing.

Eamon Moore
Lowhill, Ballinakill, Laois

Eamon died peacefully at The Regional Hospital Portlaois.

He is predeceased by his brother William and sister Eileen Gibbons.

Deeply regretted by Kathleen,sister in law Mona,Kathleen’s sister Moira,nephews John,Tom,James,and Eoin,nieces Breda and Mary,relatives,neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Brennan’s, Stanhope Street,Ballinakill from 6 pm to 8 pm on Sunday evening. Funeral Mass on Monday at 12 oc in The Church of The Assumption,Ballyouskill followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

House Private on Monday morning please.

Liam (William) Joseph Lynch
Rosewood Tullyroe Mountrath Road, Abbeyleix, Laois/Durrow, Laois

Formerly of Aharney, Durrow, Laois. Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving wife and family.

Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Ellen his brother Patrick (Pakie), Aharney, Joseph (Slieve Rue) and his son Joseph.

Sadly missed by his wife Eileen, his sister Margaret (Durrow), sons Paul, Padraig, John, Peader and his daughter Ellenora and their spouses Angela, Mary, Helene, Siobhan and Brian. His grandchildren Rian, Ciara, Niamh, Fiona, Finnian, Aisling, Shane, Alienore, Eanna, Liam, Roisin and Niall.

His granddaughter-in-law Niamh and grandson-in-law Brendan and his loving nieces and nephews, neighbours and friends and of course his bees.

Reposing at Rosewood Abbeyleix on Saturday from 4pm. with prayers at 7pm. Removal on Sunday from his residence to the Church of the Most Holy Rosary for 7pm. Requiem Mass on Monday at 11 am, in the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
