Predeceased by his parents Gerald and Kathleen, sisters Margaret and Josie and brothers Jerry and Leo.

Deeply regretted by his loving brothers Eddie, Kieran, Dessie, Derek and Paddy, sisters Rose, Cecelia, Ann and Pauline, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Rigney’s Funeral Home, Athy on Thursday evening (July 11th) from 6pm until the conclusion of the Rosary at 8pm. Removal at 11.30am on Friday morning to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Wolfhill for Requiem Mass at 12noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

Patrick (Paddy) Fitzpatrick
O’Daly Terrace, Rathdowney, Laois

Patrick (Paddy) Fitzpatrick, O’Daly Terrace, Rathdowney, Co. Laois, July 9th. 2024, peacefully at St. James’s Hospital Dublin, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Margaret and his brother Charlie. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his heartbroken family, his wife Kay, daughter Mary-Anne, brother Jack, sister Joan (Phelan), sister-in-law Catherine, niece Shusha, nephews Cathal and Rory, Mary-Anne’s partner Shane, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Rathdowney (Eircode R32 NY24) on Friday evening from 5 o’clock pausing for prayers at 7.30.

Removal from his residence on Saturday morning to the Church of the Most Holy Trinity, Rathdowney arriving for Requiem mass at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in the local cemetery.

Eileen Loughnane (née Murphy)
Rathnamanagh, Portlaoise, Laois/Ballydesmond, Cork

Eileen Loughnane, Rathnamanagh, Portlaoise and late of Ballydesmond, Co. Cork. July 9th 2024. Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Gerard and dearly loved mother to Liam, Jamie and Mary Rose. Cherished grandmother to Cillian.

Deeply regretted by her mother Mary Murphy, brothers Gerard, Liam and Bertie, daughter in law Rachel, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and especially her work colleagues and students at Scoil Chriost Rí.

Reposing at Keegans Funeral Home, Portlaoise on Friday evening from 6.30 pm till 8 pm with rosary at 7.30 pm. Funeral arriving at SS Peter and Paul’s Church for 12 noon Requiem Mass on Saturday. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.

Formerly of Enaghan Walsh Island, County Offaly. Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Beacon Hospital Dublin.

Sadly missed by her loving and darling daughter Zara and her Dad, father Danny and mother Rose, sisters Orla, Aoife, Ashling and Grainne, aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Maher’s Chapel of Rest, Portarlington (eircode R32 X5XV) on Thursday evening from 5pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Friday morning at 11:10am (travelling via her residence) arriving Church Of The Immaculate Conception Walsh Island for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

William (Willie) Doyle. Green Road Portlaoise, Co. Laois (and formerly ESB Portlaoise). Died July 9th 2024 peacefully surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of the late Lil.

Dearly loved father to Philip, Paul, Greg, Damian and Michael and brother to Lar and Mick. Deeply regretted by his daughters in law, Laura, Catherine, Fiona, Julie and Mairead, brother in law, sisters in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Keegans Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6.30 until 8 pm. Rosary will be recited at 7.30 pm.

Laois and formerly of Rathfarnham, Dublin, Dept of Transport, Dept. of Social Welfare, Dublin and also Revenue, Dublin) 7th July 2024, unexpectedly, beloved husband of Michelle and loving Dad of Lucas and Liam; he will be very sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, father Frank, mother Dymphna, sister Nessa and her husband Paul, brothers Fraz and Paul, father-in-law James, mother-in-law Rita, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces , nephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

Dearly loved wife of Martin, much loved mother of Niamh, Emma, Kealan and Evan, adoring grandmother of Cian and cherished only daughter of Juliette and the late Matt.

Sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, daughters, mother, brothers Paddy and Brendan, son-in-law Kevin, grandson, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family, relatives and many friends.

Alice Campion (nee Bergin), St. Canice’s Terrace, Borris in Ossory, Co. Laois. July 8th. 2024, (peacefully) in the loving care of the Staff at Patterson’s Nursing Home, Roscrea, in her 99th year.

Predeceased by her husband Ned, daughter Irene, sisters Brigid and Margaret, brothers, Andrew and Michael.

Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by her son Eamon, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Alice will be reposing in Guilfoyle’s Funeral Home, Castletown (Eircode R32 TN84) this Wednesday evening (July 10th) from 6.30 o’c with Prayers in the funeral home at 8 o’c.

Removal from the funeral home this Thursday morning (July 11th) at 10.30 o’c to arrive at St. Canice’s Church, Borris in Ossory for Funeral Mass at 11 o’c. with burial immediately afterwards in Skirke Cemetery.

Kenneth Mooney
Meelick, Rosenallis, Laois

Kenneth Mooney, formerly of Meelick, Rosenallis and of Fleet in Hampshire who died suddenly on the 21st of June, 2024.

Deeply regretted by his wife Samantha, his daughters Imogen and Estelle, his parents Brigid and Seamus Mooney, his sister Colleen and his brothers Sean and Brian, his brother-in-law David and his sister-in-law Nicola, his nieces and nephews and a wide circle of family and friends.

Kenneth will be interned on Thursday, the 11th of July, at 11am at “The Church of our Lady” in Fleet, Hampshire with burial afterwards at St Mary’s Church in Hartley Wintney in the Hart District of Hampshire.
