The death has occurred of PJ (Patrick Joseph) Gorman, Woodview, Stradbally, Co. Laois, peacefully on the 7th of July at his daughter Colette and Aidan’s residence, Ash Trees, Main Street, Stradbally, Co. Laois, surrounded by his loving family.
Sadly missed by his beloved family daughters Colette, Lorraine, Orla, sons Pat and Derek, son-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and his many friends.

Reposing at the Presentation Chapel, Stradbally on Monday from 6pm to 8pm with Recital of the Rosary at 7:30pm. Requiem Mass will take place in the Chuch of the Sacred Heart, Stradbally at 12 noon on Tuesday (July 9). Interment afterwards in Oakvale Cemetery.

Mary (Una) Howley, Mooreville, Rathdowney, Co. Laois, July 6th. 2024, peacefully at the Midland’s Regional Hospital, Portlaoise, in her 90th year.
Predeceased by her parents. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sister Rita, nephews, cousin Annie, extended family, neighbours, residents, management and staff at Ballard Nursing Home, Portlaoise and a close circle of friends.

Reposing at O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Rathdowney (Eircode R32 NY24), on Monday evening, July 8th, from 6.30pm until 8pm, followed by removal to The Church of the Most Holy Trinity, Rathdowney, arriving at 8.30pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday morning at 11am, followed by interment in the local Cemetery, Rathdowney. Messages of condolence can be placed on the page provided below.

Beloved husband of Kathleen and much loved father of Valerie, Garry, Tommy, Aidan and Ken. Kenneth Mooney, formerly of Meelick, Rosenallis and of Fleet in Hampshire who died suddenly on the 21st of June, 2024.
Deeply regretted by his wife Samantha, his daughters Imogen and Estelle, his parents Brigid and Seamus Mooney, his sister Colleen and his brothers Sean and Brian, his brother-in-law David and his sister-in-law Nicola, his nieces and nephews and a wide circle of family and friends.
Kenneth will be interned on Thursday, the 11th of July, at 11am at “The Church of our Lady” in Fleet, Hampshire with burial afterwards at St Mary’s Church in Hartley Wintney in the Hart District of Hampshire.
