An excellent opportunity for an experienced Retail Manager to join and help lead our team at Maxol Portarlington.
We are looking for someone to help us continue to provide our customers with the service they know and expect. If you are a team leader with management experience in the Forecourt or Convenience retail sector, or an equivalent sector, we’d love to talk to you!
Location:
Maxol Service Station, Dublin Road, Portarlington, Laois R32 N4FD
Key responsibilities:
- Day to day management of the store and the team
- Ensure merchandising and presentation of the store to the highest standards
- Set, manage & help the team meet agreed targets on sales, costs, wastage & profit margins
- Ensure all regulations and standards regarding HACCP, food safety, stock control and waste management are met
- Recruit, train, mentor, and develop the team
- Review staff members progress and performance and maintain staff rosters
Qualification and experiences:
- Management experience in retail or equivalent sector
- Retail or relevant degree or qualification
Skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Good with numbers, percentages, and margins
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and multi-task
