Egan (Ballincollig and formerly of Portarlington, Co. Laois and Tarbert, Co. Kerry) On June 27th 2024 peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of Maryborough Nursing Home, Patrick (Paddy) (proud former member of An Garda Siochana), beloved husband of Mary and loving father of Yvonne, Caroline, Colum and Leonie and brother of the late William, Jackie and Anna. Sadly missed by his wife and family, sons-in-law Ger, Michael and Denis, daughter-in-law Clare, grandchildren Liam, Ana, Ciara, Brian, Niall, Joe, Oscar, Jack, Luc, Ellie and Marc, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Lying in repose at Crowley’s Funeral Home, Ballincollig (P31 W982) Sunday (30th) from 4.00pm with prayers at 5.00pm. Requiem Mass at 11.00am Monday (1st) in the Church of St Mary and St John, Ballincollig which can be viewed on https://www.churchservices.tv/stmjballincollig. Funeral afterwards to the Island Crematorium Ringaskiddy which will be streamed on https://www.islandcrematorium.ie/services/.

Eamon A Fitzpatrick
Kilminfoyle House, Ballacolla, Laois

Eamon A Fitzpatrick, Kilminfoyle House, Ballacolla, Co. Laois, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on June 28th, 2024 in the wonderful care of the doctors and nurses in Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise. He was predeceased by his parents Jack and Rita. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Anne, daughter Fiona, sons Johnny and Michael, daughter in law, Caroline, Johnny’s partner Jane and much loved grandson Jack, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces and nephews and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at his residence on Sunday, 30th June, from 2pm concluding with Rosary at 7pm. Removal on Monday, 1st July, arriving at The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballacolla R32 RK8R for Requiem Mass at 12pm Midday. Burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private on Monday morning please.

Margaret (Peg) Coogan (née Daly)
Firoda, Castlecomer, Kilkenny / Ballybrophy, Laois

Margaret (Peg) Coogan (neé Daly) Firoda, Castlecomer, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Castlequarter, Ballybrophy, Portlaoise, Co. Laois.

Margaret passed away peacefully in St. Luke’s General Hospital after a brief illness surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Tom, sister Kay (Cork), brothers Martin (Laois) and Paddy (Wexford).

Margaret will be sadly missed by her loving family, sons Seamus, Eamon and Thomas, grandchildren Jill, Molly, Shane, Tommy, Eve, James, Jack and Sam, daughters-in-law Brona, Cora and Anne, brothers, Sean (Cork), Fr. Peter (Dublin), Michael (Clare) and Fr. Joe (Dublin), nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Coady’s Funeral Home, Castlecomer, on Saturday, 29th June, from 4pm concluding with Vigil Prayers and Rosary at 8pm.

Removal from her residence on Sunday morning to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Castlecomer, for Funeral Mass at 11am. Margaret will be laid to rest thereafter in the adjoining cemetery.
