A student from Portlaoise College has been awarded a prestigious scholarship to Dublin City University (DCU) as part of a programme for gifted students.
Dominik Bogusiewicz, 15 from Portlaoise, will take part in DCU’s Early University Entrance programme, which allows exceptional students to begin their university studies while still in secondary school.
Dominik will be studying computer science as part of this programme.
The scholarship recognises Dominik’s hard work and academic achievements.
It will provide him with the opportunity to take university-level courses in computer science and gain valuable experience in higher education.
DCU’s Early University Entrance programme is designed to support and challenge gifted students, helping them to reach their full potential.
By participating in this programme, Dominik will have access to a wide range of resources and support from university staff.
This fantastic opportunity will allow Dominik a window into his future as a computer scientist.
