We may be in the height of the summer – but one Laois group have unveiled and announced plans for a celebration at the end of this year.
The Laois Macra Committee will be hosting a New Year’s Eve Ball in the Killeshin Hotel to welcome in the new year 2025.
Organisers say that Macra members from across the county will be invited to attend.
However, anyone can attend as the New Year’s ball will aim to provide a memorable night to both Macra and non-Macra members.

Macra are currently seeking sponsorship from local businesses in Laois to ensure a successful event.
