Maura Morrin (nee Carroll) Fieldbrook Lawns, Dublin Rd., Portlaoise. June 19th 2024, in the tender care of the staff of St Vincent’s Hosp. Mountmellick.

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Seamus and loving mother to Niall, Fergal, Roisin and Carina. Cherished grandmother to Sophie, Ryan, Kyle, Jamie and Téidí. Predeceased by her close relatives Alice and Nonie. Deeply regretted by her loving family, sister in law Rita, Fergal’s partner Annette, sons in law James and Paddy, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Keegans Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6.00 until 8 pm. with rosary at 7.30pm. Funeral arriving at SS Peter and Paul’s Church for 2 pm mass on Saturday. Interment will follow afterwards in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.

Michael McEvoy, Block Road, Portlaoise and formerly of 11, Glenview Square, Tipperary Town.

Peacefully, surrounded by his devoted and heartbroken family in the exceptional and tender care of the medical staff at Emo Court Ward, Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise.

Beloved husband to Joan. Loving father to David (Sligo), Alan (Fermanagh), Michael (Cork) and Louise (Offaly). Cherished grandfather to Jacob, Emma, Myla, Muireann, Siún and Aria. Deeply regretted by his loving family, brother Paddy (UK) and sister Carmel (UK).

Daughters in law Donna and Aisling. Son in law Simon. Brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, a wide circle of friends and former colleagues of An Garda Síochána.

Reposing at his residence from 3pm to 8pm on Friday 21st June with rosary at 7.30pm. Removal on Saturday 22nd June to SS Peter and Paul’s Church for 12 noon Requiem Mass. Cremation will follow Sunday morning 23rd June at 11am in Shannon Crematorium, Co. Clare. Family flowers only. House private on Saturday.

Billy (William) Lacey
Baunmor, Ballinakill, Laois

Billy is formerly of Lisbigney,Attanagh and died peacefully in the exceptional care of the management and staff of The Abbeyleix Community Nursing Unit.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Rose (Rosary),son Liam,daughters Adele and Joanne,brothers Michael and Nicholas,sister Mary,sisters in law,brothers in law,sons in law,nieces,nephews,grandchildren,relatives,neighbours and friends.

Reposing in St.Brigid’s Church Ballinakill on Thursday evening with funeral prayers at 7pm .

Burial afterwards in St.Brigid’s Cemetery.
