Laois Vintage Limited launched their 27th annual sponsored vintage road run in aid of Laois Hospice at Treacy’s Bar in The Heath recently.

The event itself will take place on Saturday August 17 from Treacy’s Bar with a commencement time of 10am.

Since their inception in 1996, Laois Vintage has raised over €1 million for Laois Hospice through these fundraising efforts.

Laois Vintage are hugely grateful for the continued support shown to their run each year.

This year the run will be visiting a private museum at Two-Mile-Borris in Thurles which showcases beautifully restored vehicles.

The round trip will pass through Portarlington, Killenard, Emo and an official stop at the Railway Bar in Portarlington for refreshments.

All vehicles will then return to Treacy’s bar, where a complimentary meal will be served and commemorative plaques will be distributed to each participant.

New members are welcome and can contact one of the numbers below for an entry form.

While there is no fee, donations would be appreciated.

Further details regarding the run can be found by contacting Noelle Graham: 086 8189204, Tom Treacy: 087 2530474 or Ger Whelan: 087 2530124
