Billy is formerly of Lisbigney,Attanagh and died peacefully in the exceptional care of the management and staff of The Abbeyleix Community Nursing Unit.
Deeply regretted by his loving wife Rose (Rosary),son Liam,daughters Adele and Joanne,brothers Michael and Nicholas,sister Mary,sisters in law,brothers in law,sons in law,nieces,nephews,grandchildren,relatives,neighbours and friends.
Reposing in St.Brigid’s Church Ballinakill on Thursday evening with funeral prayers at 7pm .

Burial afterwards in St.Brigid’s Cemetery.
Vera Kavanagh (née Keane)

Vera Kavanagh (née Keane) Kylebrook and Main St., Portlaoise. Formerly Dacklin, Carrick-on-Shannon. Co. Roscommon. June 16th 2024. Peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Wife of the late PJ. And loving mother to Nora, Ita, Veronica, Siobhán, Claire and PJ. Vera will be deeply missed by her brothers and sisters, Tess, Val, Anne, John, and Des. Predeceased by Mai, PJ, Mícheal, Sr. Ita and Rita. Much loved grandmother to Sarah, Ronan, Emma, Will, Tadhg, Ellen, Luke, Adam, Noah, and Suzie. Deeply regretted by her sons in law Reg, Mark, Patrick, Alan and daughter in law Niamh, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, friends and former customers of Kavanaghs Pub.
Reposing at her residence from 3 pm to 8 pm on Tuesday with rosary at 8pm. On Wednesday, removal from her residence at 1.15 pm to arrive at SS Peter and Paul’s Church for 2 pm requiem mass. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.

John C. Byrne (Johnny), Fairwinds, Courtwood, Vicarstown, Co. Laois and late of Greenhills, Dublin – 14th June 2024 (peacefully) in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff of Naas Hospital surrounded by his loving wife and family.
John, loving father of the late Garry; sadly missed by his loving wife Phyllis, daughters Annette, Audrey & Lisa, 10 adored grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, devoted loving sister Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, extended family, relatives, and friends.
Reposing at Anderson & Leahy’s Funeral Home, Henry Street, Newbridge, Co. Kildare, on Monday from 5pm with prayers at 7pm. Removal on Tuesday morning at 10am to arrive at the Church of the Assumption, Vicarstown, Co. Laois, for 11am Mass. Funeral afterwards to St. Conleth’s Cemetery, Newbridge, Co. Kildare.
Kathleen Rigney (née Hughes)

Kathleen Rigney (nee Hughes) St Brigid’s Place, Portlaoise. Died 14th June 2024. Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her husband Michael and infant daughter Marie. Deeply regretted by her loving sons Michael, Noel, Brian, Des, Niall, Donal, Kieran and Colm, sister Ester, sisters in law, brother in law, daughters in law, grandchildren, great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing in Keegan’s funeral home on Monday, June 17th, from 5pm to 8pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 12 noon followed by interment afterwards in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.
