Suddenly at home. Deeply regretted by his loving Mum and Dad, (Tom and Vera), sisters Sheila and Fiona, brothers-in-law Kieran (Skip) and Tim, nieces Amy and Katy, nephew Thomas, aunts, uncles, cousins and a wide circle of friends .

Edward Eamonn (Ned) Fox
Foxes Cross, Ballymullen, Errill, Laois
Edward Eamonn Fox (Ned), Foxes Cross, Ballymullen, Errill, Co. Laois, June 10th. 2024, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his infant son Peter, his parents Josie and Paddy and his infant brother Seán. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Mary, children Lloyd, Sabrina, Taunya, Wayne and Avril, daughters-in-law Anne-Marie and Jeanette, sons-in-law Michael and Danny, Sabrina’s partner John, his adored grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at O’Sullivans Funeral Home, Rathdowney (Eircode R32 NY24) on Wednesday evening, June 12th, from 5 o’clock pausing for prayers at 8 o’clock. Removal on Thursday morning to the Church of the Assumption, Killasmeestia arriving for Requiem mass at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Rose Conroy (née McCormick)
Carrick Hill, Portlaoise, Laois
The death has occurred of Rose Conroy (née McCormick) Carrick Hill, Portlaoise. Suddenly at her home. Predeceased by her daughters Margaret and Elizabeth and son Kenneth. Beloved wife of the late John Joe. Dearly loved mother to Séan, Michael, Kevin, Pascal, Donal and Joe. Cherished grandmother to her 19 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great great grand children. Brothers Tommy and Charlie, sisters Lily and Gretta, brothers in law, sisters in law, daughters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral home on Tuesday 11th June, from 6.30pm until 8pm. Removal on Wednesday to arrive at SS Peter and Paul’s Church for 12 noon requiem Mass which may be viewed online at www.portlaoiseparish.ie/webcam/. Burial will follow in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery Portlaoise.
