Martin Walsh 141 Whitefields, Portarlington Co.Laois June 8th 2024. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Christina and sister Julan.

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at home.Beloved and devoted husband to Pauline and beloved brother to Colette, Siobhan, Lorraine, Paul and Aidan. Deeply regretted by his uncle Jim, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at his home R32W2R8 on Sunday from 5pm Recital of The Rosary at 8pm Removal from his home on Monday at 11.15am to St Paul’s Church, Emo arriving for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private Monday morning please.

Donations if desired to Laois Palliative Care. A donation box will be in place in the church.

John Bosco Delaney
Rathgar, Dublin/Portlaoise, Laois

DELANEY, John Bosco (Rathgar, Dublin and formerly of Portlaoise) 5th June 2024 (peacefully) in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital.

Beloved husband of Edel and adored father of Robert and Katie. Predeceased by his brother Loughlin and sister Mary.

He will be greatly missed by his family, brother Joe, sisters Rena, Sheila and Madeleine, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing in Fanagans Funeral Home, 54, Aungier Street, Dublin 2 on Saturday afternoon (8th June) from 3 to 5pm.

Removal on Monday morning (10thJune) to the Church of Mary Immaculate Refuge of Sinners, Rathmines arriving for 10am Funeral Mass followed by burial in Mount Jerome Cemetery, Harold’s Cross.

Timmy Delaney
Ballybrophy Road, Borris-in-Ossory, Laois/Ballaghmore, Laois

Timmy Delaney, Ballybrophy Road, Borris in Ossory and late of Ballaghmore, Co. Laois. Passed away suddenly on the 3rd. June 2024.

Pre-deceased by his parents Ned and Kathleen, cousins Nora and Mary.

Deeply regretted by his cousins Mary, Liam, Philip, Thomas and Catherine, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Guilfoyle’s Funeral Home, Castletown (R32 TN84) this Friday evening (7th June) from 7 o’c with Rosary in the funeral home at 9 o’c.

Prayers in the Funeral Home this Saturday morning (8th June) at 10.30 o’c followed by burial in Churchtown Cemetery, Castletown.

Margaret Fitzpatrick (née Walsh)
Springfield, Ballyfin, Laois

Margaret Fitzpatrick née Walsh, Springfield, Ballyfin, Co. Laois. June 4th 2024. Peacefully at Portlaoise Regional hospital. Surrounded by her loving family.

Dearly loved wife to Patrick and and cherished mother to Séan and Lisa. Deeply regretted by her loving family. Brother Fint, sisters Brigid and Mary, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Also her work colleagues at Portlaoise Garda station.

Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home, Portlaoise on Friday evening from 5pm until 8pm with rosary at 7.30pm. On Saturday Funeral arriving at St Fintan’s church, Ballyfin for 11am Requiem mass. Interment will take place afterwards in St Fintan’s Cemetery.

As Margaret always looked on the bright side of life, attendees are encouraged to wear bright coloured clothes rather than black. House private please

Portlaoise, Laois

Adored and missed beyond words by his wife Yvonne his children Camille, Lisa and David, son-in-law Conor, daughter-in-law Niamh and his grandchildren; Sam, Oisín, Eoin, Cian, Ella and Lughaidh.

He will also be sadly missed by his brother Michael and sister Carol, sister-in-law Rita, brother-in-law’s Brian and Danny and all his nieces and nephews in Ireland and Plymouth.

He will be with his big brother Peter and Claire now. He will be missed so much by everyone that knew and loved him.

Private cremation and family remembrance at a later date.
