Adored and missed beyond words by his wife Yvonne his children Camille, Lisa and David, son-in-law Conor, daughter-in-law Niamh and his grandchildren; Sam, Oisín, Eoin, Cian, Ella and Lughaidh.
He will also be sadly missed by his brother Michael and sister Carol, sister-in-law Rita, brother-in-law’s Brian and Danny and all his nieces and nephews in Ireland and Plymouth.
He will be with his big brother Peter and Claire now. He will be missed so much by everyone that knew and loved him.

Pre-deceased by his parents Ned and Kathleen.
Reposing in Guilfoyle’s Funeral Home Castletown (R32 TN84) this Friday evening (7th. June) from 7 o’c with Rosary in the funeral home at 9 o’c.
Prayers in the Funeral Home this Saturday morning (8th. June) at 10.30 o’c followed by burial in Churchtown Cemetery Castletown.

Peacefully at Home in the arms of her loving Family after an illness bravely fought with dignity and strength
Predeceased by her parents Carmel and James, brothers Ronald and Vivian.
Deeply loved and missed by her partner Noel. Heartbroken daughters Donna and Karina, adoring grandchildren Emma, Cian, Dylan, Ryan, Abel and Charlie. Devastated sister Michelle and brother Mark. Sons-in-laws Aidan and Dave. Dear friend and sister-in-law Dolores. The girl’s father John, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Reposing at her Home – Tireran, Ballickmoyler, Co. Laois (Eircode R93 F7D2) on Wednesday 5th June from 5pm-8pm for close family and friends. Removal on Thursday at midday to Newlands Cross Crematorium, Dublin for a Celebration of Shirley’s Life at 2pm.

The family would like to thank Dr. Irene Le Roux, Palliative Care Nurse Phyllis Howlin, and for the care Shirley received in her final hours from her sister-in-laws Catriona Kirwan and Bernie Dempsey. Also all the staff in Home Comfort Care.

Carl Christian John Adams passed away on May 30th 2024. Deeply mourned by his beloved wife Brenda and children Troy, Timothy, Megan and Matthew.
The Thanksgiving Service will take place on the 5th of June at Laois Bible Church, Epworth Hall in Abbelyeix at 10am. A private cremation will take place and the house will remain private on Tuesday the 4th and Wednesday the 5th of June.
Carl is sadly missed but so lovingly remembered by his family, friends, neighbours and extended family.

Valerie Townsend (née Byrne)of “Ashlee”, Linkardstown, Tinryland and formerly of Pearse Rd., Graiguecullen, Carlow, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on June 3th, 2024, at her home.
Beloved wife of Eddie, much loved mother of Cillian, Darragh, Colin and Emmet, cherished sister of Marian, Patricia, Niall, Ronan and the late baby Irene Angela and adored daughter of the late John and Eileen.
She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, her son’s partners Kerry, Emma, Natasha and Rachel, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq, (Eircode R93 C863) on Wednesday, June 5th, from 4pm concluding with Prayers at 7pm that evening. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11am in St Clare’s Church, Graiguecullen, followed by burial in St Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.

Dearly loved wife to Rob and adored mother to her heartbroken son Sam, daughter to Rose and the late Christy Paisley (Portlaoise), sister to Noelle Phelan.
Reposing at Keegans Funeral Home, Portlaoise on Thursday evening from 6 pm until 8 pm, with rosary at 7.30pm. Funeral arriving at SS Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise for 11 am Requiem mass on Friday. Interment will take place afterwards in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to The Cuisle Centre, Irish Cancer Society or St Brigids Hospice The Curragh. House strictly private please.
