A Laois GAA club are set to get on their bikes for a 24 hour fundraiser once again this weekend.
Clonad GAA will be at the Portlaoise Plaza at Junction 17 from 5pm on Friday until 5pm on Saturday.
Those taking part will be pedalling for both club development and green initiatives.
Last year, the event proved a massive success with over €5,000 raised for the club.
PRO Colin Delaney explained what will happen and is hoping for a successful event again.
He said: “By supporting us in this Cyclothon, you’ll be supporting our club’s development initiatives, enabling us to create better more sustainable spaces to nurture our talent.
“Together, we can build a stronger, more vibrant club and community.
“Music and fun will start from Friday afternoon. Portlaoise Plaza have kindly sponsored fuel vouchers and hampers on the day.
“We’ve launched a GoFundMe and every contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a meaningful impact.
“So, let’s get ready to make a positive impact on our club’s growth and the environment.
“Mark your calendars, spread the word, and let’s make this Cyclothon a roaring success.
“Together, we can pedal towards a brighter future.”
