There is point-to-point racing in Stradbally on both Saturday and Sunday this weekend on a busy couple of days for the picturesque Laois venue.
The Laois Foxhounds are hosting this weekend’s point-to-point action in Stradbally Hall on Saturday and Sunday at 2pm.
Stradbally Hall, home of the Electric Picnic, has been hosting these meetings for over 20 years.
There are six races on each day with the first race getting underway at 2pm.
The Stradbally venue is unique in point-to-point in that spectators have a full view of the course which runs over beautiful parkland.
With a superb view of the track this even, weather permitting, is ideal for those would like to enjoy a picnic while watching the racing and perhaps enjoying a bet.
Parking, which is free, is available very close to the final fence and finish line.
A good day out is guaranteed!
