Portlaoise Institute will host an Open Day and Evening this Thursday, May 16, from 5pm–7pm, where prospective students will be welcomed to their campus on the Mountrath Road.
Students can gain a tour of the campus, receive presentations from staff on each course, and engage with staff to help decide the right course for them. Students can ask questions about all courses, fees, the application process, and progression options.

There are 24 full-time and 18 part-time QQI-certified courses available, so there is something for everyone.
Exciting new full-time courses on offer for September include:
- Certificate in Pre-University Education and Training
- Certificate in Special Needs Assisting and Social Care
- Certificate in Advanced Early Learning and Care – Stage 2 – Part-Time
- Certificate in Pre-Apprenticeship Hairdressing
