The death has occurred of Bridie Flynn, nee Keane, Little Johnstown, Rathcore, Enfield, Co. Meath and formerly of The Heath Co Laois April 25th 2024, peacefully at Connolly Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Loving wife of Dick Flynn and adored mother of Pat, Breda, Caroline, Larry, Elaine, Richie and John. Deeply regretted by her brothers and sisters, Frank, Betty, Dolores, Tommy, Joan, Donal, Joe, Marie, John, Bernadette, Micheal, Geraldine, Tina and the late Theresa and also by her grandchildren,sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends
Bridie will be reposing at her family home(A83 KN93) on Sunday 28th April from 4.30pm concluding with Rosary at 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on Monday 29th April in The Church of the Assumption, Jordanstown Enfield (A83 YO21) at 2pm, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Noreen Caplis
Santry, Dublin/Mountrath, Laois
Caplis, Noreen, (née Phelan) – 25th April 2024, (Santry and formerly of Mountrath Co Laois), (Peacefully), surrounded by her loving family and in the wonderful care of staff at Beaumont Hospital. Beloved wife of the late John and loving mam to Paul and Susan.
Noreen will be very sadly missed by her son and daughter, and their partners, Catherine and Damien, adored grandson Dylan, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.
Reposing at Jennings Funeral Home, Oscar Traynor Rd., Coolock D17FK58 on Monday afternoon, April 29th, from 12pm-2pm. Removal Monday afternoon to Dardistown Crematorium for a service at 3pm to celebrate Noreen’s Life.
Tom Scully
Graiguecullen, Carlow/Graiguecullen, Laois
Tom Scully (Former Doyles of the Shamrock), of 7 Chapel St., Graiguecullen, Carlow, passed away peacefully aged 94 years, surrounded by his loving family, on April 24th, 2024, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny.
Beloved husband of the late Fred (Winifred).
He will be sadly missed by his loving children Philomena (O’Rourke) Anne, Mary Clare (Glancy), Madeline and Anthony, grandchildren Susan, Jessica, Sean, Kate, Clare and his great-grandchild Beth, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law Maria, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at his home, 7 Chapel St., Graiguecullen, (Eircode R93KF59) from 6pm on Thursday, April 25th, concluding with Prayers at 8pm that evening. Reposing on Friday from 11am with removal that evening at 6.45pm to St. Clare’s Church, Graiguecullen arriving for Prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 2.30pm followed by funeral to Killeshin Cemetery, for burial.

Tommy (Tom) Kelly
Portlaoise Road, Abbeyleix, Laois
Peacefully, in the presence of his family, in the loving care of Kilminchy Nursing Home, Portlaoise. Predeceased by his wife Mary. Deeply regretted by his loving sons John and Alan, daughters Kathleen, Maureen and Ann-Marie, sisters Kitty, Maureen, Philomena, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing in the Chapel of Rest adjoining the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix from 5 pm.on Friday with prayers at 7pm. Removal to the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix on Saturday for Requiem Mass at 11am. Interment afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
