A Laois business owner has become the proud recipient of two prestigious honours recently.

Founder and CEO of G’s Gourmet Jams, Ms Helen Gee, has receiving the fellowship of the All-Ireland Business Foundation (AIBF).

Ms Gee has additionally been named AIBF Laois Business Person of the Year 2024.

G’s Gourmet Jams, based in Ballypickas, has been crafting their collection of artisanal jams and preserves for over 25 years.

The company has garnered numerous awards in that time, including Great Taste, Blas na hÉireann, and Georgina Campbell accolades,

“Helen Gee’s visionary leadership her has propelled the company to remarkable heights, emphasizing innovation, quality, and sustainability,” the company said.

“These recent honours further validate G’s Gourmet Jams’ commitment to excellence and its position as a leader in the industry.

“From its humble beginnings, G’s Gourmet Jams has experienced consistent growth, expanding its product line and distribution channels both domestically and internationally.

“Helen’s passion and family values are evident in the company’s success story.”

G’s Gourmet products are available in all major retail supermarkets nationwide, as well as in hotels, cafes, and bakeries.

The close-knit team includes Helen’s husband Cyril and children Roy, Clive, and Sandra.
