Sheila Ramsbottom (née Dowling) of 188 Sleaty St. and formerly of Whitney Place and New Oak Estate, Carlow, passed away unexpectedly, on April 19th , 2024, at her home.
Beloved wife of the late George, much loved mother of Michelle, Keith and Lisa and adored grandmother of Lauren, Corey, Georgi, Lexi, Libbi and Robin and cherished sister of Larry, John, Mary, Geraldine and the late Nancy and Jim.
She will be sadly missed by her loving son, daughters, grandchildren, son-in-law Shane, Lisa’s partner Paul, Keith’s partner Ewelina, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her home, 188 Sleaty St, Graiguecullen, Carlow (EirCode R93 R763) on Tuesday April 23rd, from 3pm, concluding with Prayers at 8pm.
Removal on Wednesday at 10.30am to St Clare’s Church, Graiguecullen, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Sleaty New Cemetery.
Patrick (Paddy) Lawlor
Wolf Tone Court, Mountmellick, Laois
Patrick (better know as Paddy) Lawlor, Wolf Tone Court and formerly of Chapel St. Mountmellick, passed away unexpectedly Saturday 20th April.
Retired member of Mountmellick Fire Brigade and staff of Forrestal Nissan Central Garage.
He is predeceased by his parents Tom and Nora and sisters Noreen and Brenda. He is survived by his daughter Emma and son Liam, brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, family and a large circle of friends.
Reposing Moloneys Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 5pm. Recital of The Rosary at 6.30pm.
Reposing on Wednesday from 10am until Removal at 10.45am to St.Josephs Church Mountmellick for Requiem Mass at 11am.
Burial after in St Josephs Cemetery.

Sean Keyes, Kilbreedy, Rathdowney, Co. Laois, April 21st. 2024, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Johanna and sisters Chrissie and Peggy.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his heartbroken wife Noreen, adoring family John, Willie, Caroline, Patrick and Marian, son-in-law Bobby, daughter-in-law Michelle, much cherished grandchildren Caitríona, David, Shauna, Laura, Claudia, Kathlyn, Jack, Lily and Julianne, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at his residence on Tuesday evening, April 23 rd. from 4 o’clock until 8 o’clock pausing for prayers at 6 o’clock.
Removal on Wednesday morning to the Church of the Most Holy Trinity, Rathdowney arriving for Requiem mass at 11 o’clock. Interment afterwards in the Local Cemetery, Rathdowney

Eithne Burns. Retired Postmistress, ‘Mountmellick Post Office’. Died April 20th at Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise. Much loved Aunt & Sister of the late Joan, Iris, Florence, Hilda, Sam & Ann. She will be greatly missed by all her Nieces, Nephews, Friends, Neighbours & all at Oakdale Nursing Home who cared for her so well in recent years.
Reposing at Moloney’s Funeral Home, Mountmellick from 11.45am Wed. 24th April followed by removal to Mountmellick Methodist Church for funeral service at 1pm. Burial afterwards in St. Paul’s Church graveyard.
The cortège will assemble at The old Post Office at 12.50pm on route to The Church.

Patrick (Paddy) Flynn, 60 Aylesbury Avenue, Neasden, London N.W.9, and formerly of Garryheather, Clonaslee, Co. Laois. Died peacefully on the 3rd of April 2024.
Dearly loved husband of Kitty (nee O’Shea, Annascaul, Co. Kerry) and loving father of Antoinette and Billy.
Paddy will be very sadly missed by his brother John, sister Essie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, and a large circle of friends.
Funeral Mass on Wednesday the 24th of April, in The English Martyrs Church, Blackbird Hill, London N.W.9, followed by cremation at Kensal Green Crematorium.
Paddy’s family would like to thank everyone for their kindness and support at this difficult time.

Mary Fitzpatrick (nee Timmons) The Hermitage Portlaoise. Died April 19th 2024. Peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her loving husband Joe. Deeply regretted by her loving daughter Julie, sons Mark (Mountrath) and William, brothers Michael, Danny, Liam and Thomas, sisters Margaret and Ann, daughters in law Mary and Elaine, grandchildren Craig, Colin, Emma and Amy whom she loved to the moon and back, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at her residence on Sunday evening April 21st from 5pm with rosary at 8pm. Funeral arriving at SS Peter and Paul’s Church Portlaoise on Monday for 12 noon requiem mass. Interment will follow afterwards in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery Portlaoise.
