Kelly John (Jack) (Arlington, Portarlington, Co. Laois & late of Morristown Billar, Newbridge, Co. Kildare) – 15th April 2024 (peacefully) in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff of Tallaght Hospital. Predeceased by his mam and dad Kathleen and Paddy, sisters Peg and Ann, and brother Pat. Sadly missed by his sisters Mary, Nora, Kathleen, Bernadette and Assumpta, brothers Jimmy, Joe, Paul, Noel and Peter, his partner Kathleen and family, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Anderson & Leahy’s Funeral Home, Henry Street, Newbridge on Wednesday from 4pm with prayers at 7pm. Removal on Thursday morning at 10.15am to arrive at Cill Mhuire, Newbridge for Mass at 11am. Mass will be live streamed on https://newbridgeparish.ie/cill-mhuire-church. Funeral afterwards to St. Conleth’s Cemetery, Newbridge.

Frances Cripps (née Carroll)
Portlaoise, Laois
Frances Cripps, Triogue Court, New Rd., Portlaoise. April 14th 2024 Peacefully at Drominin Nursing Home. Stradbally. Predeceased by her daughter Kathleen. Dearly loved mother to Geraldine, Frances, Cecilia, Catherine, Joe, Ciaran and George. Cherished grandmother to her many adoring grandchildren. Deeply regretted by her loving family, brother Paddy, brothers in law, sisters in law, sons in law, daughters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Keegans Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6.30 pm until 8 pm Rosary will be recited at 7.30 pm. Removal on Wednesday to SS Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise to arrive for 2 pm requiem mass.
Liam Adams
Glenlahan, Portlaoise, Laois, R32YWOC / Tullamore, Offaly
Liam Adams M.P.S.I., Glenlahan, Stradbally Road, Portlaoise, and late of Adams Pharmacy, Portlaoise and Tullamore. On 14th April 2024, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Róisín and dearly loved father of Niamh, Dónal and Róisín. Adored Grandad of Sorcha, Aoibhín, Órnaith, Alice and Nora. Loving son of Eithne and the late Billy. Dear brother of Gerald, Aislinn, Kevin, Helen and Michael. He will be very sadly missed by sons-in-law Terence and Diarmuid, daughter-in-law Jane, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, friends and customers.
Reposing at his family residence (R32YWOC) from 2pm on Tuesday with rosary at 8pm. Removal on Wednesday to SS Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise, to arrive for 12 noon requiem mass. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.
Josie Taylor
Hillview Drive, Portlaoise, Laois
Josie Taylor Hillview Drive Portlaoise and formerly Mountrath Road. Died April 14th 2024. Peacefully in the loving care of the Residence Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family. Deeply regretted by her loving sisters Eileen, Maura and Kitty, brother in law John, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, extended family and friends.
Reposing at her nephew Noel Marum’s residence Mountrath Road Portlaoise, on Monday evening from 6pm with rosary at 8pm. Funeral arriving at SS Peter and Paul’s Church Portlaoise on Tuesday for 12 noon requiem mass.
