Laois senior football and U-20 hurling teams named ahead of Leinster championship matches

The Laois senior football team to face Offaly in the quarter final of the Leinster championship has been named.

Unsurprisingly, manager Justin McNulty has kept faith with the starting 15 and subs that defeated Leitrim in the Division 4 final two weeks ago.

Offaly have also named their team and it does not include two big players.

Nigel Dunne misses out through suspension while Anton Sullivan is injured.

The game is scheduled for O’Moore Park with throw in at 7pm.

Meanwhile, the Laois U-20 hurlers have also named their team to take on Wexford tomorrow.

Damien Carter has made two changes from the side that was beaten by Kilkenny last

Diarmuid Dooley has come into the full back line with Joe Pearson dropping to the bench.

While the second change is in midfield where Tommy Brennan comes in for Aaron Phelan.

Laois face Wexford in Wexford Park at 2pm where a win will see them reach the quarter finals of the Leinster championship.

If they are beaten, they will instead head for a preliminary quarter final against one of the Tier 2 sides.
