A fundraising concert in aid of Kolbe Special School is set to take place in Portlaoise on Saturday, April 13.
Portlaoise Rotary Club are behind this concert which will take place at St Peter’s Church of Ireland.
All proceeds raised from the concert will go towards providing a new interactive programme, MultiBall Pro, for the gym in the new Kolbe Special school.
An array of local talent will perform on the ngiht such as the Lynam School of Irish Dancing from Portlaoise, the Ukrainian MALVA choir also based in Portlaoise and the Portarlington Concert Band.
While Caoimhe Fitzpatrick, a young and very talented soprano from Mountrath, will join some young students who will perform some traditional Irish music.
The MC for the concert is Mark Doheny from Castletown.
The cost of the tickets is €15 for adults and €10 for children.
This includes entry to a draw for a €100 Shaws Gift Voucher along with a souvenir programme.
Doors for the event open at 7.30pm and the show gets underway at 8pm.
