Peacefully at Waterford General Hospital. Recently pre-deceased by his wife Eileen. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sister Breda, brother Pat, sister-in-law Maura, nephews, nieces, extended family, friends and neighbours.
Funeral Mass on Wednesday in Sacred Heart Church, Stradbally at 10 am followed by private cremation. No flowers please.
Anastasia (Stasia) Somers
(née Ivory) Main Street, Stradbally, Laois/Rathilla, Kildare
The death has occurred of Anastasia (Stasia) Somers (née Ivory), Main Street, Stradbally, Co. Laois and formerly Rathilla, Co. Kildare. Peacefully in the tender care of the nurses and staff at Droimnín Nursing Home, Stradbally, Co. Laois on Sunday, 7th April 2024.
Pre-deceased by her husband Paddy and her daughter Margaret. Dearly loved mother to Michael, Marie and Colm.
Sadly missed by her family, grandchildren Patrick, Anna, Dean and Katie (Boles), Laura and Emily, daughters-in-law Ann Somers and Bríd Somers, son-in-law Declan Boles, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Droimnín Nursing Home, Stradbally, from 5pm to 7pm on Monday (8th April) with Recital of the Rosary at 7:30pm. Removal at approx. 11:30am on Tuesday (9th April) to arrive at the Sacred Heart Church, Stradbally, for 12 noon Requiem Mass. Interment to follow in Oakvale Cemetery.

Formerly of New Ross, Co Wexford and Kildangan, Co Kildare. Peacefully, in the exceptional care of the staff at Tallaght Hospital, Dublin.
Predeceased by his loving partner Liz. Sadly missed by his brother Jimmy and wife Eileen, loving son John, loving daughters Susan, Caroline and Sandra, their mother Carmel Sinnott, sons in law Chris and Nigel, daughters in law Ann and Aislinn, granddaughters Holly, Sandy, Kara, Nicola and Ciara, grandsons Michael, Jonathon and Dale, great-grandchildren Serenity, Sakura, Lexi, Mille and Niamh, nephews, nieces, relatives, close family and friends.
Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home, Portlaoise, on Sunday from 4pm to 6.30pm. Removal on Monday to St Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise, for 12 o’clock requiem Mass followed by interment in St Peter and Paul’s Cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to the Marie Keating Foundation.
