Suddenly at home. Pre-deceased by his mother Pauline, brother-in-law Adrian.
Deeply regretted by his father Noel, sisters Maria, Carmel and Claire, brother James, his children Maisy, Paddy and their mother Niamh, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, neighbours and large circle of friends.
Reposing in Tierney’s Funeral Home, Roscrea (E53 NY70) on Thursday evening from 5pm to 7pm. Private removal from his residence on Friday morning at 10.30am arriving in St.Molua’s Church, Ballaghmore (R32 RC53) for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Edward (Ned) Mahon
Derryguile, Mountmellick, Laois
Edward (Ned) Mahon, Derryguile, Mountmellick, Co. Laois, died April 1st 2024 peacefully surrounded by his loving family at The Regional Hospital Portlaoise.
Loving husband of Patti and dearest father of Lisa and Nora. Predeceased by his dear parents Rose and Denis, his infant son John and brother Charlie. Deeply regretted by his adoring wife and daughters, grandchildren Josh, Pippa, Noah, Bella and Harry, sister and brothers, brother-in-law, his best friend Jimmy, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours relatives and his many friends.
Reposing in Moloneys Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6pm. Recital of The Rosary at 8pm. Funeral arriving to St.Joseph’s Church, Mountmellick on Thursday for 11am Requiem Mass. Burial after in St.Joseph’s Cemetery. Family flowers only please.

Noel O’Dea, Clonmeen, Errill, Co. Laois, April 1st. 2024, peacefully following a long illness in the presence of his family and in the excellent care of nursing and care staff at house 17, Stewart’s Care, Palmerstown, Dublin. Beloved youngest son of the late William and Margaret.
Deeply regretted by his sister Mary, brothers Kieran, Liam, Paddy, Sèan, Jim and Joe, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins and his friends at House 17.
Reposing at O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home Rathdowney (Eircode R32 NY24) on Thursday evening April 4th. 2024 from 5 o’clock pausing for prayers at 7 o’clock.
Removal on Friday morning to the Church of Our Lady Queen of the Universe, Errill arriving for Requiem mass at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in Bealady Cemetery, Rathdowney.

Joe Walker of 6 St Patrick’s Avenue, Carlow, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on April 1st, 2024, at his home.
Pre-deceased by his loving wife Margaret and grand-daughter Pamela. Beloved father of Mary, Kathleen, Caroline, Michael, John and twins Alice and Sandra.
He will be sadly missed by his loving daughters, sons, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Graiguecullen, Carlow from 2pm on Tuesday, April 2nd, concluding with Prayers at 8.30pm that evening. Removal on Wednesday at 10.45am to St Clare’s Church, Graiguecullen, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.

Rathberbha, Barrowhouse, Athy, Kildare, R14 P992/Laois /Carlow
Formerly of Ballybannon, Carlow. Died peacefully on April 1st, 2024. Predeceased by her beloved husband Addie, brother Michael and her dear sister Marian. Mother of John, Tom, Barry, Arnie, Peter, Miriam and Paula.
Pauline will be sadly missed by her sons and daughters, sons-in-law Aidan and Chris, daughters-in-law Nollaig, Alison, Orlaith, Michelle and Carol, fourteen grandchildren, brothers Dan, Tony and Tom, sisters Alice, Margaret, Phyllis, Tess and Rose, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of great neighbours and friends.
Reposing at her residence, (R14 P992) on Wednesday afternoon (April 3rd) from 4pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Thursday morning to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Barrowhouse, for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

Denis Francis Breen, Cooleshall, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary. Died suddenly 29th March 2024.
Predeceased by his father Phil and his granddaughter Rubyleigh.
Deeply regretted by his heartbroken mother Geraldine, his children Keith, Edel and Shane, his grandchildren Sophie, Ruben and Jodimai, his loving partner Mary and her daughters Andrea, Lorraine and Jennifer, Mary’s grandchildren Caitlyn, Érin and Aoibhe, daughter in law, brothers, sister, sisters in law, brother in law, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Removal on Thursday morning from Doyle’s Funeral Home at 11.30am, travelling via Ashbourne Meats, Killavilla and his residence in Cooleshall to arrive at St Molua’s Church, Ballaghmore for requiem mass at 12 noon.
