Formerly from the Odessa Region, Ukraine. He passed away unexpectedly on Friday 22nd March 2024. He is deeply regretted by his loving wife Halyna, his son Oleksandr, daughter Natalya, his 3 grandchildren Maksim, Oleksandr and Zlata and a wide circle of friends in the Durrow and surrounding areas.

John (Johnny) Murphy 7 Emmet Street, Mountmellick, Co. Laois. Died March 25th in the loving care of the staff at St.Vincents Community Care Nursing Home Mountmellick.
Beloved son of the late Edward and Brigid.
Predeceased by his brothers and their wives William and Maureen, Jim and Maureen, Eddie and Alice, Michael and Maureen, Patsy and Alice, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, neighbours relatives and his many friends.

Breda Reddy. The Grange, Borris Road, Portlaoise and formerly Griffith Road, Glasnevin. 25th March 2024. Peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Lourdesville Nursing home, Kildare. Beloved wife of Sean and dearly loved mother to Brenda and Joseph. Deeply regretted by her loving family, daughter in law Julie, nephews, nieces, relatives, good neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Keegans Funeral Home, Portlaoise on Tuesday evening from 6.30pm till 8 pm, with rosary at 7.30 pm. Removal on Wednesday to arrive at SS Peter and Paul’s Chuch for 12 noon requiem mass. Cremation will follow. Family flowers only, donations if desired the Irish Cancer Society.
Philip Lewis
The Heath, Portlaoise, Laois
Philip Lewis of The Heath, formerly of Main St., Portlaoise. Phil passed away peacefully on March 25th, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
Dearly beloved husband to Peggy and loving father to Anne, Philip, Michael, Séan, Padraig, Irene, and Bernard. Phil was a cherished grandfather to his eighteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren, bringing immense joy to his family. He will be deeply missed by his brothers Bernard, Wally, and Joe, as well as his sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, and all his former customers and friends. Phil was predeceased by his parents John and Elizabeth and siblings Tommy, Michael, Jimmy, Paddy, John, Margaret. Also predeceased by his son-in-law Anthony Walsh.
Reposing at his family home (R32 XR53) on Wednesday, 27th of March, from 3pm with rosary at 8pm. Funeral arriving for requiem Mass at 11.00am on Thursday at The Church of the Assumption, The Heath. Interment will follow in the Heath Cemetery. House private on Thursday morning please.

Predeceased by his parents Jack and Molly, sister Frances and beloved daughter Mary.
Deeply regretted by his loving wife Carmel, children John, Joe, Anne, Maurice, Michael, Brede and Helen, brothers Paddy, Jim and Tim, sisters Betty, Maureen and Noreen, son-in-law Mario, daughters-in-law Paula, Theresa, Siobhán and Sheila, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing at his residence (R93T380) on Sunday afternoon (March 24th) from 5pm until 8pm, with prayers at 8pm. Reposing on Monday afternoon (March 25th) from 2pm to 8pm with prayers at 8pm. Removal on Tuesday afternoon to arrive at St. Abban’s Church, Killeen for Requiem Mass at 1pm. Burial afterwards in tn the adjoining cemetery.
