There was a sea of green in the Little Town of Stradbally today as the annual St Patrick’s Day parade took place.
The parish of Stradbally has three parades and that begins first in Vicarstown.
The festivities continue on to Timahoe before all come together for a big celebration in Stradbally.
Fr Sean Kelly led proceedings from the front where St Colman’s NS provided the music on drums and thin whistle.
Everyone assembled at Rathmore Road at 11am before walking down the town, around Court Square, and back to the church for mass.
Refreshments were then served in St Joseph’s Hall where the celebrations continued.
Photographer Ross Molloy was present in Stradbally this morning.
