Cathal Creedon of Season Park, Newtownmountkennedy, Co. Wicklow, formerly Abbeyleix, Co. Laois. March 13th 2024 peacefully at his home. Beloved son of the late Ena (née Corcoran) and Peter Creedon. Remembered with love by his family, siblings Tadhg, Mary Lyons, Sheelagh Garrahy, Peadar and Frank, his close friend Brid, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and circle of friends.
Funeral service in Thanksgiving for the life of Cathal on Friday, March 15th 2024 at 11.30am in Greystones Presbyterian Church, Trafalgar Road, Greystones, Co. Wicklow.

Terry Donoghue, Chapel Lane, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Rathdowney, Co. Laois. Died 12th March 2024.
Predeceased by his sons Tj and Jamie, his parents Michael and Mary.
Deeply regretted by his heartbroken wife Margaret, sons Jason, Michael, Philip and Wayne, his only daughter Nicole, daughters in law Stephanie and Amanda, his grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing in Doyle’s Funeral Home, Roscrea (E53 RX08) on Friday 15th from 5pm to 8pm.
Arriving into St Cronan’s Church, Roscrea on Saturday 16th for funeral mass at 12 noon.
Burial afterwards in adjoining new cemetery.

Mary Josephine (Jo) Cruite (née Carroll)
Clonskeagh, Dublin / Abbeyleix, Laois
CRUITE, (née Carroll) Mary Josephine (Jo), Clonskeagh, Dublin and formerly of Abbeyleix, Co.Laois. 12th March, 2024, peacefully in the loving care of the staff at The Holy Family Residence, Roebuck Road, surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her loving husband John. Devoted mother of Michael, Sean, Thérèse, Paul, Eleanor and Alan. She will be greatly missed by her loving family, grandchildren Kate, Emma, Adam, Ben, Claire, David, Matthew, Michael and Sophia, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, niece, nephew, extended family and friends.
Reposing at The Holy Family Residence, Roebuck Road, on Thursday (14th March) from 3:30pm–5:30pm for family and close friends. Removal to the Church of St. Thérèse, Mount Merrion on Friday morning (15th March) arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am (which can be viewed live at the following link – https://www.mountmerrionparish.ie/webcam/), followed by burial in Deansgrange Cemetery.

Stradbally Cottages, Stradbally, Laois / Mountrath, Laois
Michael Dunne, Stradbally Cottages, The Green Stradbally, and formerly of Clonard, Mountrath, Co. Laois. Died 12th March 2024, peacefully in the tender care of Medical and Palliative care team in the Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Bridie and Martin, cherished brother to Mary (Pollard) and Martin. Sadly missed by his brother-in-law Pat, nephew David, nieces Katie and Rosemarie and her partner Sean, sadly missed by the staff and his friends in Stradbally Cottages and Muiríosa Foundation, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing in Stradbally Cottages (eircode R32E9M3) on Wednesday evening (March 13th) from 6.0’clock, concluding with Rosary at 8.0’clock. Removal on Thursday morning (March 14th) to St. Fintan’s Church, Mountrath, for Requiem Mass at 10.0’clock, followed by Burial in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Mountrath.

Thomas (Tommy) Carolan
Woodview, Stradbally, Laois, R32 NP20
Tommy passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, in The Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise. Predeceased by his wife Adie, brother Paddy, sisters Pauline and Mary.
Sadly missed by his sons Richard and Thomas, daughters Kathleen and Adeline, daughters in law Josephine and Sheila, sons in law Gabriel and Noel and his brother Charlie, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother in law, sister in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Tommy will be reposing at his residence (R32 NP20) on Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm with recital of the Rosary at 8pm.
Removal from his residence by Whelehan Funeral Directors on Thursday morning to arrive at the Sacred Heart Church, Stradbally (R32 WRH9) for 12 noon Requiem Mass. Interment to follow in Oakvale Cemetery. Family flowers only please.

Maura Dunne
The Fields, Deerpark, Ballyfin, Laois
Maura Dunne The Fields, Deerpark, Ballyfin Co.Laois. Died March 10th 2024 in the tender loving care of her loving family. Predeceased by her beloved husband Jim ,her dear son John (Davitt Road) and her infant son.
She will be dearly missed and forever loved by her children Majella, Pat, Breda and Seamus, her dear brother John Joe and dear sister Bernie (Kirwan), sister-in-law Ciss Sutherland (Clonaslee), sons-in-law and daughters-in-law.
Adored grandmother and great-grandmother to all her dear grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Much loved Aunt to all her nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all their families, neighbours and friends.
Maura will repose in her daughter Breda’s home in Clonagh, Ballyfin (R32 NY 61) on Tuesday from 5pm. Recital of The Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Wednesday at 10.30am to St.Fintans Church, Ballyfin for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial after in St Fintan’s Cemetery.
Family flowers only please. Support for Daffodil day on March 22nd in lieu of flowers, if desired. May her gentle and faithful soul rest in heavenly peace.
