Events Production Manager

We are looking for a highly motivated solutions-driven Events Production Manager with empathy and interpersonal skills to manage our workshop production and site installation teams.

You will ensure effective and consistent communication with the team and customers so that all aspects of a project are understood and the necessary information and resources are available to meet project requirements and exceed customer expectations.

A background in exhibitions, events and fit outs is preferred but not required.

Key responsibilities

Production Schedule Coordination

• Collaborate with other departments to plan workshop production and project schedules effectively, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards within allocated budgets.
• Employ creative problem-solving techniques to quickly identify and eliminate any blocks or bottlenecks that may impede project progress, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Utilize project management and productivity tools to develop flexible workflow policies enhancing efficiency while upholding safety and quality standards.

Support and Guidance

• Support production personnel by providing necessary guidance and resources for project completion, fostering a sense of ownership and autonomy.
• Take charge of ensuring the safety and well-being of onsite installation teams, promoting adherence to company health and safety protocols.

Reporting and Analysis

• Generate comprehensive project reports encompassing quality control, production metrics, costs, safety records, and other key performance indicators pertinent to production, workshop, and installation teams.
• Regularly visit project sites for quality audits, client interactions, and resolution of onsite issues to maintain customer satisfaction.
• RAMS and associated Compliance documentation (H&S, Sustainability)

Cost Management and Optimization

• Champion innovation and best practices in procurement, pricing, and supply chain management.
• Collaborate with various teams throughout project lifecycles to contribute to cost management and propose optimization strategies for diverse projects.
• Oversee budgetary aspects.

Performance Evaluation and HR Collaboration

• Conduct periodic performance evaluations to identify areas for improvement and training needs among team members.
• Collaborate with HR on recruitment and onboarding initiatives.
