Over the past two weekends, presentations took place for Men’s and Women’s Winter League at The Heath Golf Club.
The Women kicked off the competition in early November and it concluded with the Men’s competition last weekend.
The winners of the men’s event were: Joseph Delaney, Patrick Tynan, Cathal Grant, Larry Connolly and Seamus McGrath.
In 2nd place were: John Taylor, Tony Keenen, Charles Gallagher, Dominic Connell and Barry Larkin.
3rd prize winners were: Eoin Keane, Cathal Whelan, Joe Dunne, Denis Aldritt and Noel Reilly.
Finally 4th place were: Dermot Carolan, Declan Kelly, Tom Harrison, Alec Bland and Edward Doyle.
The winner of the womens’s event were The Wasps: Anne O’Sullivan (Captain), Esther Phelan, Nona Shortall, Niamh Kelly, Sarah Bergin, Deirdre Dunne and Margaret Dowling.
In 2nd, The Caterpillars: Mary P Dunne (Captain), Caroline Delany, Kathleen Miller, Mary Malone, Eileen Fingleton, Anne O’Riordan and Marie Conlan.
And in 3rd, the Mayflies: Angela Phelan (Captain), Grainne Ryan, Marion Mills, Anne Doolan, Sadie Ging, Chris McEvoy and Brid Cullen.
