The death has occurred of Elizabeth (Betty) Coffey (nee Corcoran) peacefully at the Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Jack, sister, Sarah, brothers Michael, John & Jamesie.
Deeply regretted by Michael, his wife Lisa and adored grandson, Jack, sister Anne (Ussher) and brothers Pat and Alo, by her sisters in law Ann, Peg, Anne and Marie, her nephews, nieces, cousins, neighbours, relatives and many friends.
Reposing in her home (R32RR52) this Wednesday from 7pm. Recital of the Rosary at 8pm. Reposing on Thursday from 5pm. Recital of the Rosary at 8pm.
Removal from her home on Friday morning at 11.30am to St. Brigid’s Church, Rosenallis for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in St. Brigids Cemetery, Rosenallis. House Private on Friday morning.
Ann Delaney
Dromagh, Crettyard, Laois/Crettyard, Carlow
Ann Delaney, Dromagh, Crettyard, Co. Laois, February 25th 2024 at St. James’s Hospital, Dublin aged 47 years.
Beloved daughter of Mary and the late Tom. Sadly missed by her loving daughter Saoirse, mother, brothers Thomas, John, Ciaran and Paul, sisters Siobhán, Tricia, Roisin and Emer, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing in R. Healy & Son Funeral Home, Pollerton Castle, Carlow (R93 TC53) on Wednesday evening (Feb 28th) from 4pm concluding with rosary at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday morning (Feb 29th) at 12noon in St. Abban’s Church, Doonane (R93 AT86). Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
House is private after the rosary and on Thursday morning, please.

Mary Dunne (née Bennett)

The death has occurred of Mary Dunne (nee Bennett) 9 Glendowns, Portlaoise. Previously 88 Marian Avenue, Portlaoise. Passed away peacefully at the Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaois. Predeceased by her husband Dominic, baby son Liam and son in law John.
Deeply regretted by her children Joe, Dominic, Teresa, Anne, Jacinta and Bryan. Her siblings William, Joseph, Bernadette and Michael, sons in law, daughters in law and partners, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at her residence from 4pm on Tuesday February 27th with Rosary at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday February 28th at 12pm in SS Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise, which can be viewed on the parish webcam.
Burial afterwards in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise. House Private on Wednesday morning please. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to The Cuisle Centre Portlaoise.
