It was standing room only in Camross Community Hall on Sunday evening as Camross GAA’s annual juvenile presentation night took place.
The 2024 season will be getting underway shortly but this was an evening to reflect upon the 2023 season.
The special guests on the night included three current Laois senior hurlers – Tomas Keyes, Mark Dowling and Tom Cuddy.
While 2023 Camross senior captain Darragh Duggan also addressed all in attendance.
The Camross Juvenile committee left no stone unturned in producing a great evening with refreshments served afterwards by Camross GAA’s catering committee.
Medals were presented for every team from nursery right up to minor level.
While the U-13 team were also recognised for their ‘A’ championship hurling success.
Charlie Peavoy’s goal proving crucial in the final as Camross defeated Ballinakill-Ballypickas.
The U-13s also won the league as well as the LJ Drennan and Adam Kirwan memorial tournaments. While the U-11s won the Eoin Doran Memorial Shield.
Thanks to Sinead Phelan who sent us in some brilliant images from the night.
