Passed peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Brookhaven Nursing Home, Ballyragget, Co. Kilkenny.
Beloved wife of the late David and much loved mother of Lucinda, William and Alexander. Sadly missed by her children, son in law and daughters in law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces and other family and many friends in Ireland and overseas.

Esther (Essie) Lanham, (née Conroy), Upper Sconce, Mountrath, Co. Laois. Died 4th February 2024, peacefully at the Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise, surrounded by her loving family, in her 99th year.
Predeceased by her husband Gus, deeply regretted by her sorrowing daughter Sheila, sons George, Stephen and Gus. Sadly missed by her family, adoring grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at her home in Upper Sconce (eircode E32Y9W3) on Monday evening (February 5th) from 4pm, concluding with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Tuesday morning (February 6th) to St. Fintan’s Church Ballyfin (eircode R32TD61), for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Ballyfin.

Formerly of Castle Troy Halting Site.
Died peacefully at The Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise, surrounded by her loving family.
Deeply regretted by her loving husband John, her two daughters, five sons, grand children, three sisters and one brother, nieces, nephews, relatives and a large circle of friends

Brother to Jimmy, Noel, Tom, Anthony and Therese. Predeceased by his parents James and Annie. brothers, Johnny, Michael, Billy, and sisters Mary, Delores, Margaret and Anne.

Reposing at Keegans Funeral Home Portlaoise on Sunday evening from 6.30 pm till 8 pm with rosary at 7.30.
Removal on Monday from his residence to arrive at SS Peter and Paul’s Church for 2 pm mass. Interment afterwards in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery. Family flowers only. House private.

Predeceased by her husband Seamus, sister Pearl, brothers John-Joe, Tom and Luke, sister-in-law Nan and brothers-in-law Pat, Joe, Eamonn, and Paud.
Deeply regretted by her loving daughter Geraldine, sisters-in-law Lily, Sadie, Pat, Margaret, Ita, Barbara and brother-in-law Augustine, cousins Maeve and Mary, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Rigney’s Funeral Home, Athy on Saturday evening (February 3rd) from 6pm until the conclusion of the Rosary at 8pm.
Removal on Sunday morning to arrive at St. Anne’s Church, Ballylinan for Requiem Mass at 11.30am followed by burial in St. Anne’s Cemetery.

Patrick (Paddy) Delaney, Aughafan, Castletown, Portlaoise, Co. Laois, January 31st, 2024. Peacefully at his home. Predeceased by his wife and best friend Anne (nee O’Brien), brothers Billy and Johnny, sisters Betty and Eileen and twin brother and sister who died in infancy.
Deeply regretted by by his family Carol, Darren and Patricia, sisters Nora and Patty, son in law Paul, Darren’s partner Becky, grandchildren Leanne, Aaron, Jamie, Kyle, Savanah and Katie, his two great friends Judy and Rasa, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and his many friends.
Reposing in Guilfoyle’s Funeral Home, Castletown, Eircode R32 TN84, this Saturday evening (Feb. 3rd.) from 7pm with rosary in the funeral home at 9pm.
Removal on Sunday (Feb. 4th.) from his home to arrive at St. Edmund’s Church, Castletown (Eircode R32 KT22), for Funeral Mass at 12.30pm, with burial immediately afterwards in Churchtown Cemetery, Castletown.

Predeceased by her brother Noel Jnr. and her grandparents Síle and Noel. Deeply regretted by her loving parents Damien and Breda, sister Laura, grandparents Andy and Mary (Hosey), aunts , uncles, cousins, relatives and many, many friends.
Reposing at her residence (R93 Y7YO) on Sunday afternoon (February 4th) from 3pm until 8pm with Rosary at 7pm.
Removal on Monday morning to arrive at The Church of the Sacred Heart, Arles for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Elizabeth Simpson (née Houlihan)

Predeceased by her son Wayne. Beloved partner of John and much loved mother of Lisa and Leigh. Deeply regretted by her loving family, grandchild Melissa, brother Con, sisters Anne, Catherine and Tina, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces and nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.
Requiem Mass to take place on Monday, 5th February, at 12 noon in St Peter and Paul’s parish church, Portlaoise. Thereafter to Newlands Cross Crematorium for service at 2.30pm.
The family requests people please wear colourful or bright clothing. All are welcome at the crematorium.

Dan O’Neill, Hillside, Clonaslee, and formerly of Ross, Clonaslee, Co. Laois. Died the 31st of January 2024, peacefully, in the tender loving care of the Community Nursing Unit, Mountmellick, Co. Laois, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his wife Nancy and brothers Joe, Tom, Paddy and Johnny.
Dan will be sadly missed by his sorrowing daughters Mary and Ann, his grandchildren, his sister Ann Sinnott (Raheen), sister-in-law Joan (London), sons-in-law, nieces, nephews and all the Sinnott and Tompson relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at the Heritage Centre, Main St, Clonaslee, on Saturday from 2pm to 5:30pm, arriving to St. Manman’s Church Clonaslee for 6pm Mass.

Dolores passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at St. James Hospital, Dublin. Predeceased by her parents P.J & Mary Wogan, and her partner Eamon Bailey.
Dolores will be sadly missed by her loving daughters Siobhán, Áine and Róisín, siblings Martina (UK), Irene (Kerry), Gerry (Durrow, Co. Offaly) and Maurice (New Zealand), the Bailey Family (Ballybrittas) nieces & nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Removal by Whelehan Funeral Directors on Monday morning at 11am, to arrive at St. John’s Church, Killenard (R32 VW77) for 12 noon requiem mass. Interment to follow in adjoining cemetery.
